Jap is just short for Japanese, and Chink is short for Chinese. Those terms are not offensive. It's the same thing as calling an Australian person an Aussie or a New Zealander a Kiwi. Do you get offended when someone calls you a Canuck?

let me break this quote down for you so you can't come up with lame ways to defend racism

by saying " i thought u were a towel head" she is generalizing him as a muslim, despite the fact that not all muslims wear turbans. If she would have said " i thought you were middle eastern" thats a whole different story, but here she used a derogatory remark.
