My video collection has alot of John Wayne and Charleton Heston movies. And Passions of the Christ, of course.

John Wayne basically knew how to play two roles - cowboy and soldier. Did he ever have a role that didn't involve a gun and/or a horse?
And though the man made countless war movies, he never actually served in the military.

Chralton Heston movies - you mean like "Planet of the Apes," "Cat & Dogs," and "Wayne's World 2?"

And it's "The Passion of the Christ," not "The Passions of the Christ" - pluralizing "Passion" makes it sound like theoporn.

The jury in the trial of a teenage boy accused of kicking a woman to death has been played a 999 call from a witness begging for an ambulance.

Is there any way that I could get a copy of that tape? Releasing dance remixes of popular hymns containing samples of that call might be a "groovy" way to get the Lord's message out to a hip young audience.

The jury in the trial of a teenage boy accused of kicking a woman to death has been played a 999 call from a witness begging for an ambulance.


The call, lasting about 13 minutes, was made near the end of the attack on Sophie Lancaster and Robert Maltby in Bacup, Lancashire, last year.
Sobbing and crying throughout, the tape played to Preston Crown Court begins with the girl detailing the attack.

"We need, we need an ambulance at Bacup Park, this mosher's just been banged because he's a mosher. We need an ambulance at Bacup Park quick on the skate park."

As the operator asks for the address she adds, "It's a mosher just been banged for no reason.
"Yeah we need an ambulance because he's lying on the floor not even breathing. I don't even know him but he's just been battered and it's horrible."


"His girlfriend is on the floor as well. They're still breathing but they are full of blood. Please just send an ambulance quick.
"She's choking on her own blood, please will you help us quick."

She adds: "They're just laid there with blood all over their face, they can't even move, they just look like dummies."

Now, is it just me, or does that not seem ironic??

As apposed to what? The blood of the aborted foetus she's just eaten? The blood of her Vampire blood donor victim? The blood of the dog she's just sacrificed to her false Wicca-tree-God?

I can't believe they're actually hold a trial over this. He was acting in self defense after all. I know for a fact if he hadn't knocked that Goth unconcious before she saw him, she would have he attacked him and feasted on his organs.

She didn't "spring at" anyone. Don't you read the articles before you post them? She and her boyfriend were walking home. The attack was unprovoked.

I have no doubt she deserved ALL she got. It’s a shame I wasn’t 40 years younger, because I’d have put in a few good kicks myself. It’s kids like that who deserve a good beating, it’s all they understand. She wanted to go around dressed like a corpse - well now she is one! It’s good to know there are still children today, even in these pathetic liberal times, doing their part to put losers and freaks like that in their place.

Goths have every chance of a normal life, a life free of bullying, of getting their heads stomped in. They just need to change. Sophie Lancaster had every chance of a normal life, full of love and hope and friendship, yet she CHOSE to be have her head stomped in! She CHOSE the Goth lifestyle, and she paid for it!

She had every chance to be normal, to find normal friends, to try-out for the cheerleading squad, to listen to normal music, to act and talk and dress like a normal teenager, to shop at GAP, but she turned her back on all that. And look where it got her? Being treated like the freak SHE CHOSE TO BE is nobodies fault but her own. We wouldn’t have let them get away with that sort of trash 50 years ago, so why should they get away with it now? You play, you pay!
