Re: Wicca: I just don't get it
This is what we in Christian Circles like to call a "testable claim." When put to the test, this little claim fails. Miserably. It's retarded to continue to believe something just because you're personally invested in its value, most especially when reality not only fails to confirm it, but shows it to be patently false. I'm not sure yet if the wiccan beliefs dumb people down, or if retards are statistically more significantly attracted to the wiccan lies. That would be an interesting study.

This is alarming. Jesus is not fond of vain pretenders. They are not to be trusted.Originally posted by ClarityGrace View PostI received an infraction for this, but I would like everyone to know that I was only pretending. I have been saved since September 2,2011.
Luke 20:20
And they watched him, and sent forth spies, which should feign themselves just men, that they might take hold of his words, that so they might deliver him unto the power and authority of the governor.
How can we now assess if you are sincere or if you only feign to be just and pious? A Saved person is always Trustworthy and does not attempt to deceive True Christians™.
Colossians 3:9
Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
A person who has received the Grace of Jesus would not pretend = lie. This is horrible!
Yours in Christ,

I'm considering just giving up. There ain't no way you all are converting to Wicca now. And the law the woman spoke of was the Wiccan Rede.
An ye harm none, do what ye will
There is also a law which some of us follow called The Threefold Law
Ever mind the rule of three, three times your actions return to thee. This lesson well, thou must learn, thou only gets what thou dost earn.

Re: Wicca: I just don't get it
Wicca is just an obvious and unfounded however thorough justification for the violent abomination that is gay anal sex. The irony is that gay sex is destroying the environment that the feminazi midwives and wafish homos who practice Wicca so cherish. They are afraid to harm a mosquito, but they have no problem ravaging the anus of an innocent child in order to accumulate mystical prowess.

God's work is incomprehensible. This is why we have faith.Originally posted by Rev. M. Rodimer View PostCan someone, please, explain this to me?
I met a woman today. She told me this:
"Christianity just didn't make sense to me. I mean, why would God have to come to earth as Himself, and sacrifice Himself to Himself, just to change His own rules about sacrifices? And besides, He's mean, and punishes everybody, and I don't see any reason to think He's real, just made up by men to keep men in charge of everything."
I said, "OK, so you are an atheist, right?"
Oh, no. "I worship the Goddess now. The only rule is you can do whatever you want as long as you don't harm anyone."
"What evidence do you have that this Goddess exists?"
"Well, the trees, and sky, and wind, and water are all there, so that proves she is real."

They turn their backs on 2,000 years of Christian tradition. 6,000 years when you add in the pre-Christian Judaic tradition.
They say they turn their backs on it because it doesn't make sense, and there's no convincing evidence because God hasn't hand-held them through their lives and written "I AM REAL" by moving the stars or something.
Then they pick up a cult created in the 1950s, mostly stolen from the work of Aleister Crowley and Rabelais from 20-40 years earlier, but niced-up a bit, and call it "true religion"!
I really can't understand it. I was about ready to wrap my head in duct tape to keep it from exploding, let me tell you!
Can someone explain this to me?

That must be it, Sister. The things people will convince themselves to believe so they can avoid the truth staring them in the face . . . it'd be funny if it weren't so sad!Originally posted by Mary Etheldreda View PostSome people simply cannot accept that they don't know what will happen after death and that terrifies them in life. I am so grateful our LORD Jesus came to reveal the Truth.

I'll amend my post to say "The First book of Timothy" so as to not overheat your poor female brain. Thanks for pointing out how easily women are confused.Originally posted by handmaiden View PostUmm, Brother Redeemed, I'm very sorry to be the one to point this out because I know that it is not my place, but, uh . . . . the Epistles of Timothy were written by Paul and sent to Timothy. Of course, I'm always getting confused between the "send to" address and the "return address" on envelopes. Why, the envelope that comes with my credit card bill so I can mail payment has a little placemarker for the stamp and a reminder that I need to place a stamp on the envelope so that it can get delivered. Thank goodness for that, or the responsibility of having a credit card would be too much for me--since I am merely a woman, that is.

Why would a woman want to act like a man? Do you leave your armpit hair long, too, so you can pretend to be more manly?Originally posted by Rachael Van Helsing View PostMen cannot handle women empowered in any kind of way - it must be sacrilege!!!
God made women to be, well, women. Not men, not man-like, not almost manly. Feminine. Delicate. Subservient. We were created to compliment men, to be their help meet. Why does a woman want to deny the beautiful creation He created in her to pretend to be a man?

Sorry, I couldn't resist that one.
Seriously though, I see so many christians like yourselves call people 'witches' just because they read the astrology column.
And in the olden days it was independent women who lived without husbands, were smart and managed to prosper - all without a man (oh my, no!) - so they *must* be brides of the devil, surely!
It all really points to one thing, it was the same then and it's the same now.
Men cannot handle women empowered in any kind of way - it must be sacrilege!!!
