Well, I just want to say thank you all for giving me one of the biggest laughs of my life. Believe it or not, I am Christian and I have let Jesus into my life , but you guys are a bit extreme. For f*cks sake, Gerard Way had probably saved more lives than any of you with your misguided anger towards him. Aren't Christians supposed to be out there saving lives? Yet you all are here complaining about him. What will that ever do? The people on this site either already hate him or made a dummy account like I did to prove you wrong.

First off, going back to the original post, he said that Gerard Way was responsible for the Columbine shootings. My Chemical Romance wasn't formed until 2001, and the Columbine shootings were in 1999. How could he be responsible for them if he wasn't even famous yet?


Also, MCR is NOT pro-suicide. They are the EXACT OPPOSITE. The band has repeatedly stated that their mission was to save lives. Sure, Gerard Way was suicidal at some points in his life, but that inspired him to help others so that they DON'T have to go through what he went through when he struggled with that.


The song "Dead!" was taken grossly out of context. The whole album of The Black Parade was the story of a man dying of cancer and his emotional struggles along the way. It is not encouraging people to kill themselves, it is further developing the story of the album.


Also you guys must never have heard of symbolism, because "sold my soul for rock and roll" is meant to be taken figuratively, not literally. It's a metaphor for how much of his life he's spent on his music, not actually selling his soul for rock and roll.


The "tiny daggers up to heaven" was also taken out of context. It actually says:

The little children
Raise their open filthy palms
Like tiny daggers up to heaven

It's talking about children begging, not children trying to conquer heaven.

As for drugs, yes he has done drugs before. But he regretted it and went clean and has been clean since August 2004. He does NOT encourage his fans to do drugs.

And I find it hysterical that you would even suggest that Gerard convinces his fans to drink blood. He doesn't. That's absolutely ridiculous. You guys obviously take everything literally when sometimes it's a metaphor for something else.

Also, for the whole homosexual thing...he is married to an amazing woman and they have an awesome daughter. Yes, he used to kiss men onstage, but he has since stated that it was to protest homophobia. Which I guess you are all homophobes so I guess that doesn't really change much in your eyes, but I thought I'd at least mention that he is not actually gay.

He does not have a gun that fires poop...that was a line from a song that again goes to the whole literally vs figuratively thing. As well with all of the "violent" acts you associate him with. It's not real, it's just a line from a song.

I don't even know why I'm bothering to type all of this up, because from what I can see you guys are all thick headed and unlikely to change, but I thought you should at least hear the truth. A few simple Google searches will probably prove me right. Gerard Way has been a bigger influence on my life than any of you nutjobs and I am quite happy with my life. I'm not suicidal, I'm not on drugs, and I'm not emo. You guys are the reason I'm ashamed to call myself a Christian, because your zealotry is misguided and does more harm than good. I know you guys are going to hate me for this, change my status to "emo crack whore" or something like that. Go ahead. Just prove me right, and I'll see you all in hell.

Brother I think what we have here is a "Wanna" A "Wanna" is like Troll but not a Troll. A "Wanna" is someone who enters a forum like ours but fails to browse around a little to see what it is exactly they need to prepare for, that doesn't yet get the fact that whatever they have to say is not even close to 0.00001 percent of whats been said in here already, not nearly as interesting nor as effective or notable. Does not realise that they have little to offer in the way of a challenge and cannot grasp the fact that God drives this Forum.
A "Wanna" is an Abo's term for "Want To Be" it's in the same family as "Brudda" "Gunna" "Nunna" and "Unparagoned Penultimate"

Greetings Ann. I have accepted your gracious request for friendship. I am very friendly and I accept all friend requests. You should know that many of those who have requested my friendship have been banned by these Christians. I do not think it is racism though most white people are racist. I think it has to do mostly with bad manners. These people here are Baptists and white people but they hope to help the Black man. Some of them have proved great allies in the quest of the Black man to get back to Africa which is our home. One of the subjects I am studying here in Babylon is white people. I study Baptists here and I study white girls at the University of Wisconsin. White girls have been at least as interesting as these Baptists. I am also studying to be a journalist on scholarship due to the fact that I am a Black man.

You can confess your sins to Him, accept Him as your Lord and Master, and be made anew! This new creature you will become (2 Corinthians 5:17) will be one free from sin and temptation (1st John 3:6-9), and then Jesus will love you because you will love Him (John 14:23)! He'll even forget all about this stupid "I am a sitting Ann" stuff you do, and all the other sins you commit as a heathen (Isaiah 43:25). Isn't that much better than self-loathing?
