What kind of music DO you like? It's seems as though you hate just about anything with a rhythm.

Just because it says something does not make the song true and evil. Perhaps you should listen to some music that you deem satanic and think about the message within. I would suggest a musical or something a little toned down to start with. Metallica and Lamb of God may be a bit much for you. Epica, Nightwith, Within Temptation, and After Forever are all good but you would have a hard time grasping the meanings by starting with them. Please listen to other music and see that much rock and roll is a celebration of life, youth, living, and expression.

I thik they're all bad, they're all sinners and this "christian metal" stuff it's just the way the devil uses to con our young Christians.

There is not such a thing like "Christian rock, or christian pop, or christian salsa", there is just the music our Heavenly Father likes, and the one the devil made up trying to emulate it.

Don't see why it matters what music you listen to. If you hear the verse "I cut my wrists and kill everyone rarararrggh!" it's obviously not meant to be taken literally. Music is poetry in rhythm, and a lot of poetry is metaphorical.

My favorite band is Queen (yes I am aware the lead singer was BI) and a lot of their lyrics really opened my eyes and effected my emotions. Love them.

    RIP Freddie!

How could Wagner be a Nazi when the Nazi Party didn't come into existence until the late 1920's? Bit of a timeline crisis here.... Maybe he was just another racist (judging by some of the remarks I've read on here I don't see how anybody wouldn't welcome Anti-Semitics) whom the Nazi's used as propaganda. The guy was a great composer, but unfortunately another racist wingnut who liked norse mythology. If really believed in the norse mythos he'd would worship satan, he'd worship Hela.... she's about the only equivalent.

How are you guys so sure Rock/Metal is "Satan's Favorite Music"? I thought it was the blues or jazz. Those styles where controversial well before rock or metal existed. What about all the classical composers like Beethoven and Mozart? I know Wagner wrote some pretty twisted symphonies during his time. Maybe those are satan's favorites....

I'd like to say that I disagree. Rock music as a whole isn't bad. There are bands who indeed are unrespectable. However, there are plenty of bands that speak quite well of God...and are indeed Christians.

No, you're going to hell for placing God second to satan's favorite music. Also for being a smart-mouth punk kid.

oops i meant to view before posting. lol

anywho... Just because we wear a certian type of clothing dosent say anything about us. My close friend wears tight jeans and my other friend always wears hoodies and so do i. its not because im satanic its because i like to wear them. i think their comfortable and they look cool. why is that so bad?

OK... Enough of that... back to the main point...

Yes some bands are satanic and should not be aired on the radio, TV, or have any of their songs sold. others are neutral and really dont care. and then the cool bands i listen to are christian and they sing about loving, praying to and accepting god into our life. once again HOW IS THAT BAD???
