Your reading comprehension skills are severely lacking.

At no point is it ever stated that the FLESH of the People of the Book [Jews and Christians] is lawful for you as your food.

You had to invent a false conclusion that the verse you quoted did not endorse. Nor was there any linguistic loophole within that verse that could be construed to support your conclusion. The Bible on the other hand can be taken out of context much more effectively.

We would like to think that people pay attention the content of posts rather than the title of the person making them - ignoring for the moment your own status here and what recommendation you have made regarding trash.

I'm not particularly concerned about your opinion of me; therefore, your humorous titles aren't relevant in my case. However, Deacon Mordecai clearly has his nose up your collective butts. It amazed me that he has time to come up for air and type. Anyway, your opinion of him matters to him (as well as what you've had for dinner I suppose). And since he was speaking on your collective behalves I thought it prudent to point out that he wasn't, and still isn't, one of you.

As you can clearly read I did address the content of his post despite his title. And as I pointed out to Deacon Mordecai, I acknowledge what the verses he posted stated. It just so happens that I also pointed out that you do not agree with those biblical verses and openly defy them with your appointment of female moderators. Very progressive of you. Very liberal.

It amazes me that so many people here request that I read the Bible, yet I seem to be the only person here who actually has.
