Yes. Exodus 20:3 "Thou shalt have no other gods before me."

Worshipping false gods, and Idols will get you a one way ticket to hell.

Revelation 21:8 "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death."

But its never too late to repent your sins, and turn to jesus.

2 Chronicles 7:14 "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

Please put a little more thought into your posts. Blanket disagreements do nothing to further the praise and worship of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

You're brought up Catlick, weren't you?

I guess this as youhave never read the Bible: Try Luke:16

    Lu:16:22: And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
Lu:16:23: And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

Now it is clear that you can see Hell from Heaven. If, every day for eternity, you, in heaven, became depressed and worried by those in Hell, Heaven would not be heaven, would it?

Therefore we can see that Jesus and everyone in Heaven must treat seeing people in Hell as a joyous thing.

    Thus our banner is accurate.

riversofgarbage; please apologize for the offense that you have given to all here by your erroneous opinion.

I'm sorry, but how? How do I know you come in Truth, and that you do not come in A Misunderstanding That I Perceive To Be Truth Because It Makes Sense To My Logical Mind And Comforts My Fragile Sense Of Self?

If I were to discern whether or not you come in Truth, the only means I would have at my disposal is the Holy Word of God, both on my Heart (Hebrews 8:10), and in Scripture (2 Timothy 3:16). You offer a false verse when you present Scripture. You present a Jewish lie, the tale of those who wish not to be held accountable for killing the Messiah, and yet do not wish to give up their Hebrew identity. You offer an olive branch, one end in each world, and yet it is not a branch you hold, but a sword.

Do you? Or do you come hoping to look sufficiently nonthreatening? Do you hope that by speaking with calm words and comforting phrases we will lower our defenses (John 8:44)? Do you pray that your words will turn our hearts to conform to whatever understanding you have created to appease your own mind?

The Holy Bible tells us a different story. The Holy Bible tells us of the nature and character of the Christ, the Messiah, the One King of Kings. He will come with a huge army of soldiers from somewhere in outer space, terrifying all living creatures on Earth (Revelation 19:11-16), He will unleash destruction and blood and terror and vengeance (Revelation 9:7-11; 14:19-20, etc ), and He will laugh at those who will finally see their folly in rejecting Him (Psalm 2:4). Why do you deny this? Why do you wish to feminize the Lord God Almighty? Why do you desire to reduce Him to a mere diplomat and not the War King He is (Exodus 15:3)?

Re: A List of False gods

Please know I come in Truth. I have a Scriptures with the restored names and nameplaces that were the Hebrew names. I got this from the torahzone.net website and the Scriptures is made from the Institute for Scripture Research.
Look up Isaiah 65:11-12. It reads, "But you are those who forsake Yahuah, who forget My set-apart mountain, who prepare a table for Gad (pronounced exactly as God), and who fill a drink offering for Meni.
And I shall allot you to the sword, and let you all bow down to the slaughter, because I called and you did not answer, I spoke and you did not hear, and you did evil before My eyes and chose that in which I did not delight."

Gad (God, Gott,) is the mighty one of prosperity and Meni is the mighty one of destiny. Gad was the pan-semitic mighty one. There are false mighty ones, as your list shows, named with the same name of some of the 12 tribes of Israel (YSHRAL), and these are Dan, Gad and Ashur.

Please know I come in love. I thank you for your list.
Also, I do think the picture showing "Jesus" smiling, inviting us to see our friends and relatives burn in hell, is not an accurate portrayal of the One to whom we are betrothed. Messiah would be in tears, as He feels the burden of the unsaved. It is not a matter of joy or entertainment to Him, but rather, a burden, so we should help Him by witnessing all the world.

I thank you for your passion, as you are NOT lukewarm. I pray for your increase in reaching the lost. But likewise, I pray you will not set a table for God, as this is an abomination to our Creator Father, who loves us mightily. Please know I come in love.

I believe that list is actually too short. Barack Obama Is biggest false god of them all. Praise Jesus!

I couldn't help noticing that Oba, Yoruba protector of prostitutes, isn't doing a very good job. So far it's infected about 3½ million with the AIDS.

What else did I spot? Oh yes, Xpuch (honestly, who thinks up these names?) announces that the worlds first heavenly servants were prostitutes so of course the Mayans worship it and then go extinct.

Not a very good track record. Do you think those two are the same?

Buddhists really let rip with Aizen-Myoo, a deity supposedly full of compassion for mankind and sponsor of, yes, prostitutes. Can't these heathens think of anything else?

Apart from being killed for doing this, let us see what says:

Psalms:82:1: God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.
Psalms:82:6: I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
Psalms:86:8: Among the gods there is none like unto thee, O Lord; neither are there any works like unto thy works.
Psalms:95:3: For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods.
Psalms:96:4: For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.
Psalms:96:5: For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens.
Psalms:97:7: Confounded be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols: worship him, all ye gods.
Psalms:97:9: For thou, LORD, art high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods.
Psalms:135:5: For I know that the LORD is great, and that our Lord is above all gods.
Psalms:136:2: O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Psalms:138:1: I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.

So you see, by Worshiping you worship the very Best

Otherwise is is rather similar to liking Robin better than Batman.

    Deuteronomy 13:6-10
If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers; Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth; Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him: But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people. And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die.

Because the Bible says that anyone who does so will go to Hell, and the True Christians(tm) know that the Bible is true because the Bible says the Bible is true.

... Our culture is not the only one in the world you know, the world is very big and not all the people must think like us, we must respect them...
    Why?

...another religions also have important values for its followers, I think that's the important part in any religion, not the god itself only
Including the values that call for people to execute witches, rape victims that do not cry out, disobedient children, anyone who follows another religion (or follows the same religion but does it wrong), non-virgin brides who have been paid for, etc.? Should we respect them?
