Almost 5000 gods and goddesses!!! Come on, I think you're overreacting, why all those gods can't be worshipped too? Our culture is not the only one in the world you know, the world is very big and not all the people must think like us, we must respect them, another religions also have important values for its followers, I think that's the important part in any religion, not the god itself only

But their God is our God, correct? They are just too ignorant to see that Jesus is the messiah that they are, for some reason, still waiting for. Most of them just believe what their parents taught them, so simply reading the New Testament should transform your average Jew into a proper Christian.

As True Christians™ we hope for the best for everyone, and as Godly Ann Coulter reaches out in the hope that the Jews can be perfected we also share that sentiment. God does work in mysterious ways, and the Jews did kill Jesus to ensure our Salvation®.

When it comes to the Jews and Israel, the Bible (KJV1611) tells us that in order for Jesus to return (the end times - Armageddon) a number of things must happen (the Book of Daniel, Isaiah, Ezekiel, and the New Testament Book of Revelation). The Temple Mount must be restored (from the mooselimbs) so that the anti-christ may come, and then the final return of Jesus.

The Jews are pretty out of line here in that they don't accept Jesus, or the fact that their "god" is not the one and true triune God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). The Jewish "Messiah" that they continue to wait for is suppose to be a king (from the lineage of David) that will bring order, win battles, and otherwise be a charismatic leader. They have a concept called Olam Ha-Ba, which probably explains why so many of them voted for Obama. No where in the Torah did it say that their messiah was going to be from Kenya.

Well, of course we do! Ask me to name any god and their specilized area, and I will tell you. What would happen if your brother or your sister or your uncle or your aunt came along and said, "Let's pray for fetuses."?* If you did not know that Alemona was the Roman goddess of fetuses, you might say, "OK" and then you would find that this relative started sacrificing a small she-goat and your soul would be damned!

However, if you were able to ask, "Do you mean we should worship Alemona was the Roman goddess of fetuses?" You would not be led astray.

Anyway, you distracted me! I was going to remark:

Glance down the list and you’ll see that there is a god for everything: there are false gods of such diverse things as the wind, physical prowess, autumn, fire & volcanoes, orchards, water, fidelity, honesty, oaths & public trust, love & beauty, wild beasts of the forests or woodlands, gardens, plants, flowers, love, prostitution, spring & youth, fountains, baking & grain, justice for men & gods, chance, fate, luck & happiness, winter, rain, weather, seafaring & war, rainbows & war, fishing nets, vegetation, happiness & the inventor of writing, wisdom, catastrophes, wine, lightning, healing, of justice & robbers, of metal, the hearth fire, etc., etc.

There is even No Il Ja Dae, a nip goddess of the toilet. You just couldn’t make this stuff up!

I note that also, there is a false creator god; a false god who made man and, amazingly, the false god who is the concept of the spirit of the pre-existence of the believer that watches over him as a protective spirit!

Now this proves that God is real but the ignorant savage just did not understand that one God, The God, Our God, does everything.

All these other supposed gods come from, undeveloped, lazy, liberal socialist thinking. They are nothing more than the thousands of under-employed, over-paid, public servants leeching of our taxes, in luxurious offices where duplication and redundancy abound, “Big Government by little gods!”

People just couldn’t believe that The One True God could do all that! Well, He can and does! And he listens to your prayers.

Brother Bathfire, I have been studying this list for 12 hours now, and I'm sad to say I'm only at the B and have forgotten half of A already.

Do you think there's a mnemonic aid to learn this list?

I started to work one out, but then realised that the mnemonic was longer than the list itself.

I thought of printing it out and memorising 10 at a time, but then it occurred to me to wonder if we even need to memorise the names of all the false gods? What use are they?
