  • Insane Clown Posse expresses Godly sentiments in song: Hope for Juggalos?

    Friends,

Although there is some unnecessary toilet-mouth in this song and I am no fan of the jungle beats, I think you will agree with its overall message that we are surrounded by miracles and that "science" (falsely so-called, I Timothy 6:20-21) is woefully incapable of explaining the wonders of God's Creation that surround us all, everywhere we go.

This message is no different from that put forth by one of the great luminaries of our generation.

Could it be that Juggalos are simply going through a phase, and that it has been a part of God's Plan all along that they will one day take their place with us among Jesus' Elect? This truly gives me hope, and I think it is cause for great joy among the angels as well. Perhaps an ICP collaboration with Michael W. Smith could be in the works?

    Luke 15:7
I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
    II Thessalonians 1:7-9
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power

The man who is being progressively sanctified will inescapably sanctify his home, school, politics, economics, science, and all things else by understanding and interpreting all things in terms of the Word of God and by bringing all things under the Dominion of Christ the King. -R.J. Rushdoony

    Nice.

You have coupled the Insane Clown Posse with the Insane Clown Prince!

The Catholic Church has always been at the vanguard of art, music and of course, science. Sure, we are sometimes accused of being a bit too deliberate in our considerations of cutting edge science but this mild reticence has allowed us to maintain a wonderful record in fully appreciating man's growing understanding of the world God has given us.

However the idea that the Juggalo movement, normally a bowel or stomach contraction, could evolve into a celebration of Jesus is as improbable as Baptist Pope.

Juggalos need to find Jesus but dressing up in silly outfits, venerating trampy girls and drinking cheap flavored water in front of thousands of mindless drones will never be a path to Christ!

The guys at the top of this odd cult make all sorts of money and live in grand style while their socially backward, economically challenged low-hanging fruit of susceptible rube culture end with nothing but twisted words that have no substance or meaning in the real world.

How could a Christian organisation possibly operate on such a premise?

There will doubtlessly be quite a few of them who lose their minds to drugs and end up as Baptist converts but that is a path to nowhere near moral enlightenment.

    Bless you, my Fayglo Fanatic,
    Father Mo

      Oh, the irony!

Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope are actually trying to reach a segment of the population unreachable by ordinary means, and are following Jesus when he said:

Mark 16:15 - And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

If they have to dress foolishly as clowns to do this and follow God's Word, then so be it:

1 Corinthians 1:21 - For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

Are they eloquent? Perhaps not always, but sometimes you have to speak as the unsaved, in order for them to truly listen:

1 Corinthians 2:1-8 - And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.

2 Corinthians 3:12 - Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:

We Baptists are often falsely accused of being close-minded, but many of us do recognize the efforts these two men and others recording with Psychopathic records as toiling for The Lord to call lost souls to recognize that God is real, albeit with unorthodox tactics. Their outreach is to lost souls that are unreachable by any other means, and I Praise Jesus for their hard work. They are fighting fire with fire, turning the wiles of the devil against him.

It is of course commendable that these people bring some of the Holy Word to the mentally challenged section of heathenism, but I think it would be better if they were to quote the entire Bible in each of their "songs" to make sure that people are aware of the context. But as soon as their followers are actual Christians we will have gained a powerful army to bring His Word to foreign nations at the point of a sword, because as everyone knows the juggaloos are extremely violent gun slinging gang members.

I am a bit concerned with them wearing whiteface, it comes across as very racist against white people...
        Leviticus 26:15-16
And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant: I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.

Brother, I would share your concern wholeheartedly if they were negroids, but white men wearing whiteface seems alright to me; a little parody can be instructive. It's like black on black crime...there really is no victim.

However, they have been criticized as modern day minstrels, and I can see the comparison as having merit.

            .
And what have the cathylicks been putting in their incense burners since the 1960's to come up with Vatican II?

Well let's face it, while the Gregorian chant worked for illiterate medieval peasants, the cathylicks have managed to dupe countless classical composers since the 16th Century into writing some of the greatest liturgical music in the Western world. And what has happened in the short decades since is tantamount to painting the Sistine Chapel with velvet glow in the dark pictures of Elvis. Your venerated popes have permitted some of the most loathsome folk pop elevator music to desecrate their sanctuaries since the priests started acquiring their predilection for choir boys.

Bless you too, my intonation challenged papist rube.
            Hell's foundations quiver at the shout of praise;
brothers, lift your voices, loud your anthems raise.

              Indeed.

Perhaps you'd be so kind as to give us a few examples of Baptist liturgical music that in any way is on par?

Deranged folks in the congregation screaming out whatever they like in the middle of a three chord ditty that rhymes Jesus with pleases will never give Bach a run for his money.

                Hello Father Maurice Lester.

I have read the Bible and Jesus does not give much instruction about songs other than He says in several places to make a joyful noise look at Psalm 98:4 it says:

Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.

It does not give a minimum or maximum of chords.

                Thank you.

                Rusty

P.S. You do not seem happy maybe because you have never been with a woman even my wife was better than nothing she was not too snug though.
Psalms 116:6 The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.

Dear deranged Eunuch, if I may point you to the history of Gospel® music. I show you not only par, but strokes better. Where the Baptists, touched by the revelation of God, rediscovered the simple beauty of the most perfect instrument, the vocal Chord (in living English, not dead Latin of course). Surrounding it with lesser (but no less skillfully played) instruments become the legacy of His perfection of praise.

For she doted upon their paramours, whose flesh is as the flesh of asses, and whose issue is like the issue of horses."
