New Claim: God Stole The 10 Commandments From The Demon MAAT

Brothers in Christ, satan is clearly sweating hard. When he plants stories like THIS in the liberal media, you know that satan is desperate. Now he wants the world to believe that at least 8 of The 10 Commandments are in fact NOT from God's Holy Word but rather stolen from a demon named MAAT who wrote "42 Principles" over 2,000 years before Moses fetched the stone tablets from Mt. Sianai.

Written at least 2,000 years before the Ten Commandments of Moses, the 42 Principles of Ma’at are one of Africa’s, and the world’s, oldest sources of moral and spiritual instruction. Ma’at, the Ancient Egyptian divine Principle of Truth, Justice, and Righteousness, is the foundation of natural and social order and unity. Ancient Africans developed a humane system of thought and conduct which has been recorded in volumes of African wisdom literature, such as, these declarations from the Book of Coming Forth By Day (the so-called Book of the Dead), The Teachings of Ptah-Hotep, the writings of Ani, Amenemope, Merikare, and others.

One aspect of ancient Egyptian funerary literature which often is mistaken for a codified ethic of Ma’at is Chapter 125 of the Book of the Dead, often called the 42 Declarations of Purity or the Negative Confession. These declarations varied somewhat from tomb to tomb, and so can not be considered a canonical definition of Ma’at. Rather, they appear to express each tomb owner’s individual conception of Ma’at, as well as working as a magical absolution (misdeeds or mistakes made by the tomb owner in life could be declared as not having been done, and through the power of the written word, wipe that particular misdeed from the afterlife record of the deceased).

Many of the lines are similar, however, and they can help to give the student a “flavor” for the sorts of things which Ma’at governed—essentially everything from the most formal to the most mundane aspect of life.
It just burns them up that God is always right.
    Who Will Jesus Damn?

Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8), All Liars (Revelation 21:8)

Good grief, what a load of baloney.

First of all, the guy doesn't even know how to spell his own name...it's M-A-T-T pal (you're welcome). Short for Matthew, DUH.

Second, does anyone honestly think that an african has morals? Those guys don't even have the brains to use guns to shoot tigers and whatnot, they just sharpen a stick and strip down to their undies.

Seriously: do you want this guy telling you what to do?

And what a poor excuse of a sham it is, too. Only a complete fool would fail to notice how much of that list was listed verbatim from the Bible.

      Some people will believe anything.

Okay, I'm only an old woman and no great scholar or thinker, but even I can see the problem with this.

Written at least 2,000 years before the Ten Commandments of Moses
Are they trying to make us believe that Africans could write back then? They just drew little crude pictures. I remember seeing a docudrama about it called Stargate where James Spader was having trouble working out what the drawings even meant, because he didn't know what the vowels were.

Do these people think we're dumb, or what?
        2 Timothy 3:16

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

You don't think it is possible that the bible was taken verbatim from Ma'at?

          It was 2000 years prior.
