I thought I should post a warning about an evil cult called the Jehovah's Witnesses. they come calling and knocking uninvited usually at the weekends or in the early evenings. they travel in gangs (safety in numbers) and try to sell you some cult book called the watch tower.
you should
1) don't answer the door if you feel threatened
2) Open the door and give them 1o seconds to get off your land before you set the dog on them (this is my favourite approach, 90lbs of bull terrier/mastiff usually has the desired affect.
3) Try to convince them of the error of their ways, I worked with one and after 2 years he gave up. I enjoy a good doorstep debate. usually asking if they would let their son die if he needed a blood transfusion, or asking them why the world didn't end recently has they had predicted. They believe they are only 144,000 places in heaven.
just look at them, they look frightening. look at the old guy with the beard and his eyes shut, he looks pleased about something in the trouser department. The 3rd person on the left (woman) it looks like she fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.
