Imagine what it must be like to be raised as a godless atheistic child. Taught from an early age that the earth was created out of nothing, with a big bang, about a bazillion-gazillion years ago. Taught that Karl Marx and Charles Darwin are to be worshiped as gods, that women are somehow equal to men, that being a queer and using the drugs is fine and dandy. All manner of perversions are allowed, and any mention of Jesus is met with a beating.

A parent reading a child anything other than the Bible before age 6 should be arrested for child abuse. Children have to be taught young that God has no reservations when it comes to smiting anyone who steps out of line. Otherwise they will grow up without morals and become Democrats.

Alright... Where do I begin? Lets start with "imagine what it must be like to be raised as a godless atheistic child." I—was raised Jewish (I'm sure to you anti-Semitic, homophobic, racist scumbags that's worse than being the devil, himself) and I went to my weekend services and holidays like any Christian would (for all intents and purposes) and as the years progressed, I slowly began thinking past everything that was "brainwashing" me into believing my (according to you folk) incorrect religion. As I stand today I take great offense to your remarks, but that aside I have a few more nitpicks of your "perfect" world.

"That women are somehow equal to men" Oh boy... I could take this a few ways. By first, the way I'm assuming you are NOT getting at which is a known fact that women are physically and biologically different than men. Now, for what I think you mean (civil rights). Since the early 1900s (in case you've been reading anything other than the garbage on this website) people (other than women) have petitioned for women's rights and won that battle. Everyday, a woman's decision is just as logical as a man's and the only thin stopping you from thinking otherwise is all you've been told OS men are better and superior than women.

"Being a queer and using drugs is fine" Look at what we have here! We have a homophobe with a LITTLE bit of logic! I agree with you that using drugs isn't okay. Marijuana, crack, huffing = not okay.

Being a "queer" (homosexual) IS fine. Homosexuality has been found across many species and isn't just some "god-damned" thing. I have homosexual friends WHO ARE BOTH CHRISTIANS and thus far they haven't been punished for their "sins" nor will they ever be as following what is instinctual for YOU isn't a sin. If you want to think about it this way, you are judging against them because their instincts and feelings are DIFFERENT FROM YOU and you are TOO BIG A WHIMP to just GET OVER IT.

Masturbation is also a commonly found occurrence in many species and helps relieve stress and sexual tensions that may cause a MAN or a WOMAN to make irrational decisions.

I'm glad they have religion and are happy, productive people" but when I hear "Jesus hates (insert noun)" it upsets me and makes me want to beat on the writer as it is REDICULOUS and stupid to have a God who "causes all things" to create something he and his son both hate.


I also want to mention that another delightful cult follower mentioned how atheists are brainwashing their children into believing no Christ. No matter how you slice it (think of it from a different religion's perspective... Really do) if you felt the same way for Islam, you'd think Christianity is crazy and wrong and Jesus is BS. REALLY THINK. Think back to how you started thinking this way! Your parents PROBABLY told you since day 1 the way YOU do it is right and EVERYONE ELSE IS WRONG AND GOING TO HELL and if you don't learn that NOT EVERYONE IS GOING TO BE THE SAME AS YOU then you need to learn that simple fact because even though you tell that Jew he's going to hell because his parents raised him to not believe in Christ, or that black woman because she's "inferior" to you there is NOTHING that they will change to please you and your hateful, harassing and offensive comments often beaten upon online.

That was a long rant. As my interest is in the BIBLE and praising God, I'll concentrate on the only passage that had (sort-of) a Biblical reference.

Of course Jesus and God hate many things. That is the cornerstone of all morality. We must be told what to avoid and what to embrace.

I have here some examples:

Romans 9:13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

Malachi 1:3 And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.

Luke 19:27 But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.

Why do you assume that WE hate, however? Of course we don't! For instance, we show endless love and encouragement to homers and try to show them the way to God away from the path to Hell. Is there greater love than to wish for the ultimate prize - Heaven - for sinners such as homers and you!?

The wrong way to go about trying to help people is telling them to change or they will eternally live in hell. NOT a good idea. That's like assume (alternate universe) atheism is more popular than Christianity and atheists would picket Christian funerals and protest in front of Churches saying "all Christians go to hell" you think you'd want to join them? I think NOT.

We are not into this for making them "join" us. We are here to tell the TRUTH about God, Jesus and God's Word. Surely, we would have many people join us if we lied and pretended God was all about marshmallows and maple syrup.

I was raised in an atheist household.

My parents would regularly tell me how God didn't exist and would give me several "logical" explanation's on how God wasnt responsible for something.

Also they would point out scripture to me that put God in a bad light, now I realise that the verses were taken totally out of context.

As my parents were atheists they would also encourage me there was nothing wrong with being gay.

I had no discipline and my parents would watch people like Ayn Rand and James Randi. And read books such as Holy Blood, Holy Grail.

I had a miserable childhood. I had no beatings, I was fed at least three times a day and was expected to think for myself and make my own decisions with no regard for scripture. It could be argued this was a form of abuse.

It was hard to get out of there and become the man of God I am now.

There is a name for that Brother Henry - Childhood Emotional Neglect (or CEN) - when parents fail to invest the time and interest in a child that the child needs, while providing the physical necessities so that they (the parents) can't be accused by the sickular authorities of abuse.

I still have flashbacks now. Whenever I am faced with an important decision in life I have horrific flashbacks to when I had to think for myself and not have my Bible to guide me.

People don't realise how deeply an atheist upbringing can affect you.
