  • Asking once more for a friend

If say your nephew scored high on the sociopath test would you send him off to boarding school? You wouldn't want him bothering the animals.
If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.

I wouldn't worry about test results (except for Bible-related tests), Brother Dr. Toole, Sir. My husband takes the view that all boys are sociopaths and it's something they either grow out of or they don't. Regular beatings generally speed up the process.

Proverbs 23:13-14 shows us the way: Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die. Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell.

You don't say how old your nephew is. My boys are mostly within the normal range for male sociopathy by the age of about 8 or 9. I rely on their elder brothers to punish the younger ones. It is good to give them responsibility.

Had it been a niece, my answer would obviously have been different.

Thank you Mrs. Lytton-Vasey. Your husband is very smart. I don't see the boy very often these days so it's possible the beatings have been inadequate recently.

He's 27, but young for his age. He likes to hang around with boys of 8 or 9 or probably a lot younger actually so I guess that does make him like an elder brother. A role he embraces in the way you indicated.

Ah, it's refreshing to get the female perspective sometimes. How so?
