Re: Disney Movies are incredibly un-Christian!

In the spirit of going along with this social experiment, I'll take the time to respond to the post above me.

Mainly what I was referring to, even though I was a bit careless expressing this, was stories or events.
For example, Christmas use to be a pagan event.

Well, it's nice that pagans used to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus the Christ.

      Why did they stop?

So now you're saying that goths are in fact pagans? Finally, you are learning the vileness of your ways. Come the rest of the way, and accept the hard love of Jesus.

I'm not pagan, I'm atheist. I don't believe in the existence of a higher being. Though, I must admit, nature is a beautiful thing.

So you're a pagan. That sums it up pretty well. You find nature to be your path, even though it is an abomination unto God. Once you're honest with yourself, you will be able to accept Jesus into your heart.

Nature is God's work, so of course it's beautiful. Nevertheless, I'd be curious to see what you make of these:
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

Because in real life, the only "happily ever after" is when you accept Jesus, and you die. Then you remain beside him forever and ever.

I find Sigmund Freud fascinating in some ways, but I do think he wasted the time of many psychologists with his ideas.

One thing always amuses me.....'Freudian Slip' = Freud in a dress

Of course he did, but, in all fairness, those that came after him should have discarded his ideas as soon as they heard them, the way True Christians do when they hear about evolution. Honestly, how can one take him seriously when he thinks that everything we ever think or do is just a manifestation of our will to copulate with our parents? Complete and utter bunk!
