There is nothing funny about hell, friend.

For your information, the word translated as Hell in the New Testament is Gehenna. Gehenna was a dump outside of Jerusalem, where garbage was set on fire. Jesus compared the souls of the damned to garbage being tossed out. Therefore, Jesus says unsaved people are trash.

This forum is HILARIOUS! The original point is probably true. This fiction book could make people take it the wrong way and decide to practice witchcraft. There's a huge probability. Look at what the christian bible has done to society. Are we trying to ban a fiction book (harry potter) by using points from another fiction book (the christian bible)? I'm glad that fiction book hasn't been banned yet, because christians are the most entertaining crowd to watch; especially baptists.

Oh dear, you were too retarded to actually read the Bible!

Proverbs is talking about believing the words of the liars in this world, like you. Just look at the context.Proverbs 14:14 The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways: and a good man shall be satisfied from himself.

Proverbs 14:16 A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil: but the fool rageth, and is confident.

See, it's not talking about reading the Bible, it's talking about listening to evil people, just like you!

We are in fact told to believe everything from the Bible.

1 Corinthians 13:7 Believeth all things.

Proverbs 30:5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

Matthew 4:4 Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

2nd Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Nice try, thinking you could fool True Christians. Have fun in hell

This is probably the funniest website I have ever seen. Everybody is panicking over a book that teaches things like loving people and not judging them and forgiveness. Of course God wouldn't want us to love our neighbors or anything like that!

What makes you think God isn't about to drop the hammer on Rownling and end her praising days for good. God doesn't have to follow your time table. Mark my words in forty years Rowlings will be DEAD.

GOD will allow this worldly domain to run itself straight into the gaping maw of Hell; it is the dominion of Satan until the return of our Lord Jesus Christ at the very last second to save all True Christians! Hallelujah!

I can't wait! I hope we all die today! PLEASE MAKE IT TODAY, LORD!

This is a very powerful prayer against Witchcraft. This prayer can shut down witches and satanists forever. Being that this prayer basically shuts down the senders of the hexes and vexes by returning their evil to them sevenfold. I hurl it at you in Christ's name NOW.

    Father,
In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I plead the precious uncorruptable blood of Jesus over myself and my church and everything that belongs to us. I ask for giant warrior Angels to be loosed from Heaven to surround and protect us. As your war club and weapons of war I break down, undamn, and blow up all walls of protection around all witches, warlocks, wizards, satanists, and the like, and I break the power of all curses, hexes, vexes, spells, charms, fetishes, physic prayers, physic thought, all witchcraft, sorcery, magic, voodoo, all mind control, jinxes, potions, bewitchments, death, destruction, sickness, pain, torment, physic power, physic warfare, prayer chains, and everything else being sent my way or my family members way, and I return it and the demons to the senders right now!, SEVENFOLD, and I BIND it to them by the Blood of Jesus!

Father, I pray that these lost souls will find the light of your son Jesus.. Their own snares and traps have been set against themselves.. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth I now loose them from all mindcontrol of satan!.. Father I also ask that you Bind the Holy Spirit to there hearts as a guide to your son Jesus.. So they may be set free from the bondages of satan.

    In Jesus name I pray..
    Amen

    1) Reason why religon should be banned: people have started wars and global catastrophes over it. They killed each over their own idea of what they think God wants.

I don't remember the Crusades being about 2 opposing countries and whether they thought Dumbledore was gay or not.

I have researched if Rowling is satanic and found this: she goes to a holy church every day. so she is saved (if she was satanic at all!)
No, there are two types of Christians: True Christians™ who are Saved® by the blood of Jesus Christ, and False "Christians" like you who call yourselves Christian but do not follow the Bible and have fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness like Harry Potter (Eph. 5:11)

When the final judgment comes, Jesus will only accept us passionate, "fundamentalist" types. People like you who think they can cherry-pick will be sent to Hell.

Rev. 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

That's Jesus rejecting you right there. Furthermore, J.K. Rowling is not a True Christian™. She goes to the Church of Scotland which is just some papist offshoot. She's as much of a Christian as my Mercedes SL65 AMG.

Also, to the person who said twilight was good:

    a. you don't see men depending on women, do you? no. so why should bella depend on edward?

    b. werewolves and vampires are the work of the devil. so why are they in a (as you say) "good book for girls"?

    finishes long rant

    How charming. A "Van Hellsing"

I have to say if there is anything lower, more pathetic than some angst ridden, self cutting emo vampire freak its the bloated toad nerds that call themselves vampire hunters. Losers persecuting losers. I mean you entire opposition to the emo vampires is based on the Van Hellsings being to obnoxious to get any.

Friend, do yourself the favor and put away your penis substitute of stake and turn towards Jesus friend.

Is Christianity real? I wasn't aware that Christian opposition towards the Harry Potter books for promoting witchcraft was just the work of some forum on the internet. Perhaps you mistake naked Christian doctrine for humor?
