Some of those methods seem a trite harsh but the overall message is undeniable. Besides - just look at kids who were raised this way and then kids raised with more "modern" methods.
I was one of those kids ruled by a fist and I feared daddy coming home every day.
I think I turned out just fine.

In my state, you know what we call beating your child? A Class E felony.

And what do parents get out of it? A $50,000 fine, or up to 15 years in prison, or both (and parental rights likely terminated).

That's why there are no "traditionalist Catholics" left at my parish...their kids told me everything, I called the cops, and now their parents are breaking stone at the Racine County Prison!

Yet another example of how mary worshiping papists turn their backs on the commandments of God. To call yourself a man of the cloth, and to actually turn parents in to the police for obeying God's Loving guidelines on proper Christian parenting, is just beyond my imagination.
