Not surprising you think that behior is innocent. Only a harlot who makes such moves on a daily basis would feel and think that way.

I am young adult women who grew up with the Harry Potter series. I am also a very devote follower of the Lord our God. You can even say I am a Harry Potter fanatic who owns every book and movie. Now before you dare to say that I'm going to hell or that I'm pot smoking sexed crazed goth you might want to read the list of things I don't do, will never do, and have never wanted to do.
1. I have not had sex. I am saving myself for marraige because it is God's will.
2. I do not, have not, and will never smoke pot.
3. Watching Harry Potter does not make me want to have sex or smoke pot or turn goth.
4. There are no pictures of Emma Watson (the actress who plays Hermione Granger) in short skirts with out underwear and drinking.

Compared to the many other female actresses in the world today Emma Watson is on of the best role models for children.

Have any of you actually picked up and read one of the books? The story is about never giving up even when all hope seems lost. That how friends and love are important and that no matter what you are never alone. Those seem to me to be very good things what should be taught to children. The story is a basic good vs evil with good winning out in the end. What is wrong about that? So there is magic involved? SO WHAT? The Chornicals of Narnia (which, in case you don't know, is a Chirstian series) has magic and witches. So that must mean that thats bad too then huh?

Oh having looked at the top of this website to only see "Where the Worthwhile Worship. Unsaved Unwelcome." That is not at all what God wants from His followers. God asks us to go out and minister to all and that He will only return when all cornors of the Earth have been reached. Yet you insist on turning those who are not saved away from what is with out a doubt an eternal life thanks to the glory of the Lord.

In one of my favorite quotes "Let he among us with out sin cast the first stone". Now who here can do that? Oh no one? What a surprise

I'm sorry...I'm "lost"? In what way am I lost? I go to church twice a week, a Bible lays by my head when I sleep. I've given my life to God and to do was He wishes. I was Babtized to show that commentment and I wear a cross around my neck every day. I don't cuss, I don't believe in magic, I don't condem people to hell (unlike people who are apparently called True Christians). I read a lot of books and there for I'm lost?

Let me ask you a question. Do you celebrate Chirstmas on December 25th? Do you have a tree with gifts under it?

I have read the books. It was my job as Youth Pastor.

The problems with Harry Potter are too many to even list, but for starters.

What does the Bible say about witchcraft, consultation with familiars and idolatry? How can you honestly justify your love of these books with being a Christian?

1st John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

The Chronicles of Narnia have the witches as the bad guys to represent evil. The Harry Potter series has the witches and wizards as the protagonists. There is no comparison.

Ephesians 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

Besides, C.S. Lewis was a Christian lite who didn't follow all of the Bible.

Jesus only said that to them because they were not yet perfected in Him.

1 John 5:18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

How could we not be perfect if Jesus himself admonishes us to be perfect?

Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

In the Book of Luke, Jesus tells us that in becoming perfect, we are like God.

Luke 6:40 The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.

In many of the Epistles, the authors tell us that we are perfect and can be "unblameable in holiness," like our Master Who is in Heaven.

1 Thessalonians 3:13 To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.

Colossians 1:22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

So you are saying you do not sin and have never sinned in your entire life? Because the only person who has ever walked this earth with out sin is the Lord Jesus Christ. We, because of Adam and Eve, are sinners from birth and the only way to heaven is to accept the forgivness of God in which he sent is one and only son to save ALL THE WORLD and only God shall pass judgment.
