Because the truth is harsh. We use great plainness of speech, and will not beat around the bush when it comes to someone's eternal soul. Watch out for those people who tell you that it's okay to sin - they'll take you to hell with them.

It has been said "honey draws more flies than does vinegar." This really isn't a Biblical concept. The Bible teaches the exact opposite. For example, Jude says "Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And of some have compassion, making a difference, And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment spotted by the flesh."

Furthermore, you should carefully examine all of the preachers (including Jesus) in the Bible. On some, they had compassion. On others, they preached fear. It is our duty to make a difference.

well i read the bible too, just latley it hasnt been speaking to me like it used to and i dont put myself above other because of it, and yes, i know i can pray myself, but i do believe prayer is more powerfull when other people pray for the same thing......i am deeply disapointed with this group of people, id of expected more considering it is a christian group....and i havn't worked out yet how to send private messages but in reply to one i have gotten from Mrs. Rogers, i am very offended that you report me for yapidy yap yap as you call it then reason it for me being up to no good, it is sour old hatefullness like that that turns people away from Jesus....if i wasnt already trying to get back to God and fix my life i would of given up on the whole christain idea from the treatment i have gotten from you....( i apologise for the abruptness of it) but i am trying to see your point of veiw and your reasoning for things and all im getting is rudness....i am hurt

While you are doing some things good it seems, you are also doing things wrong. You cannot just follow parts of God's Holy Bible you have to follow all of it.

And this includes: Matthew 24:24 "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect." which clearly applies to Harry Potter. Also don't forget the author admitted to Dumbledore being gay. Also something God clearly does not like: Romans 1:26-27 "For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet."

Why not just stay on the safe side and stick to the Holy Bible?

I don't know what you guys teach, but that is what I am learned.
However, I am also Catholic. So judge me if you will.

P.S. If you are seeing the word "sex" in everything you look at, you might want to go pray a little more, because the devil is trying to tempt you, not the little girl. Her hair is curly, so yea, it is going to look like an S shape. and sometimes two pieces of hair cross over each other and make an X. It's very common.

God is there for everyone, we just have to see Him for what He is and the Bible for what it is. Only THEN can we truly connect with God.
