Major parenting crisis. Satan has invaded my Christian home.

My daughter (10 years old the middle child) put a scarf around her head and slipped on some of my wife's bracelets. She walked up to me and asked me if I would like to have my fortune read.

Now, I know I shouldn't suffer her to live for this (Deuteronomy 18:10-11), but I'm not sure she is completely tainted yet.

I already sent her to her room with nothing to read but a KJV1611 with instructions that she read until she can quote all the scriptures against witchcraft. That was sometime yesterday.

What should I do about this demon child? I try to do the right things. We don't have a T.V. Her internet access is strictly limited.

I can't watch her 24/7, except with the keylogger and closed circuit security system.

How did this evil even come into my house? What should I do about this?
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

You didn't ask her where she had learned such a thing?

That was my first question. She told me she didn't know, but I suspect it was at my brother's house who has a T.V.

I'm not sure why you would call her a "demon child," but the Holy Bible offers the best parenting advice on earth.

Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die. Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell. -- Proverbs 23:13-14

The good Godly Pastor as always, hit the nail on the head. You need to beat the demonic possession out of the child.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

I am going to go out on a limb here but I just bet she got the idea from TV. I don't truly believe she meant it, she was just "play acting" what she saw on TV, but if I was her mother I would tell her that such things are not proper, and that as Christians, we do not believe in such things. What scares me is that if she was "play acting" that, what else did she see on TV? I do miss the days of Andy Griffith.

Levi, I read your list of punishments, and I didn't see paddling mentioned. If you are not paddling her, then what do you expect?

              That's what I think, too.

Upon request I will cite scripture for all these facts in God's Holy Word.

✝ This is a Christian community and we worship GOD of the Holy bible, the only Living GOD. We worship Jesus Christ, Son of GOD and Savior. Anything else is absurd. ✝

A great learning opportunity was certainly missed when Reverend Falwell failed to smote Joan Quigley when he had the chance.

Suffering that particular witch to live has led to all manner of Satanic attack upon Christian values.

And to this day we must endeavor to correct the error.
Jud 1:15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are unGodly among them of all their unGodly deeds which they have unGodly committed, and of all their hard [speeches] which unGodly sinners have spoken against him.

                  Indeed!

                  Proverbs chapter 13:
24 He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.

This probably works for daughters too. Associating physical pain with ungodly acts is a very effective approach to prevent further occurrence, especially if you speak with them afterwords and explain the what and why of their inappropriate behavior.
