Re: One more reason to HOME SCHOOL
Well, Miss Truthiness, I suggest you learn a bit about the Bible. We'll get to that in a moment.
As far as my light editing of the grammatical style of one person's quoted text -- did I change the meaning at all? No. I punched it up a bit to draw in readers. That's what a good copy editor does. Did it draw you in? Yes. Did I not also link directly to the original article? Why, yes. I did. Makes it rather hard to call it a "lie", no?
If you wish to believe that Ms. Wood speaks as was originally quoted, feel free to believe that. Of course, you also believe that God is all about love and peace, so I don't see where your beliefs are based in reality.
I can use your own writing style as an example of what is typical in your area, in spite of your insistence that you are not "uneducated buffoons". Let's look at your first sentence:
Corrected, "First, let me say that I am a parent whose teenager attends this school." Other than the missing punctuation and the need for "that", you do not know the difference between "whose" (possessive of "who") and "who's" (contraction of "who is"). Perhaps you need to head back to high school for a refresher!
Now, why are you associating a part of God's creation -- that is, the male genitals -- with filth? What sort of perverse belief system do you have that teaches you that MEN, created in GOD'S OWN IMAGE, have body parts that are "filthy"?
You insult God with your perverse thinking. I suggest you spend a little more time reading God's Word, the KJV1611 Bible, and a little LESS time reading Teen Smut from your child's high school!!
Why don't you head on over to www.landoverbaptist.org and take a few Bible Quizzes to see just how much you actually know about God and His Word!
Here are a few of my personal favorites:
http://www.landoverbaptist.org/news0201/biblesex.html <-- the Bible Sex Quiz, something appropriate to this conversation!
http://www.landoverbaptist.org/news0...leofwomen.html <-- The Role of Women in the Bible, something of which you must be grossly ill-informed (given your propensity to backtalk men)!
http://www.landoverbaptist.org/news0...iencequiz.html <-- Biblical Creation Science, information you can use when dealing with those "science" teachers at your child's school!
Oh, and correct answers are available when you reach the end of the quiz, with citations from God's Holy Word.

First let me say I am a parent who's teenager attends this school. "Winnacunnet" is a native American Indian word meaning "Place of the Pines", not "Place of the P*nis". How dirty minded can one be to associate a Native American Indian word with filth?!!!
