                um, how do they hurt children? and ive been to lots of metal gigs, and my ears are just fine! why would a band hurt their audience?

                  Simply that they associate themselves with the most WICKED and Evil of bands such as... Black Sabbath?

                  Or perhaps Iron Maiden?

                  All heavy metal music is sin and i recommend you put down your Kerrang!() magazine and pick up the most holy of books, the KJV bible.

                    I wonder, do you really think posts like this are going to change his mind? Is this how you plan to fight against heavy metal? It's not going to work. I guess it's like one of your big witch hunts, except this one's just out of your league.

                          While some are improbable or highly unlikely. I'm not sure you actually want to stop metal anyway. Metal gives you something to target as evil. So by that logic, I'd say you kinda need us. In turn, I'd also say we need you as a fundamentally extreme counterpoint. Without you guys there would be no fun in being post modern or a non-conformist of any sort. All this religious fervor probably breeds more metal fans because we believe in thinking for ourselves and turning away from this hive mind sort of mentality.
