I have been through so many hardships and I never needed a mans hand to guide me. I did it all by myself, I did it because women are equal to not only you, but to everyone. We are no weaker minded than you are.

Of course you've had hardships! I'm sure they were many and most likely life threatening. Keeping a woman in her place has nothing to do with simply getting them to submit. It's not an ego thing for us men. It is to keep you from harming yourselves any further.
