  • Our First Child.

My wife is currently going on her 5th month of pregnancy. Our first child. A boy. We've already decided on a name for him. I guess I am looking for some advise from fellow Christians who have kids, as this is our first child. I don't want to be too strict, but not too lenient either.

    Thank You in advance.

Fear the Lord and the king, my son, and do not join with the rebellious, for those two will send sudden destruction upon them, and who knows what calamities they can bring? -- Proverbs 24:19-22

Make sure you spank him enough. You don't want to have a gay baby.

Swaddle him so he won't be gay.
      Matthew:
5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled
10:21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

Remember, to make sure the child obeys you from the moment he is born. If you tell him to stop crying he's better be sure to stop crying, and if he doesn't, don't hesitate to use the rod on him. It's the way God tells us to train up our children.
Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell. Proverbs 23:13

Congratulations on your first child Brother. GLORY it's a boy! It's often embarrassing when a couple has a girl first born...it means the man doesn't have very strong "swimmers" and is a very strong disappointment to the LORD.

Anyway, this thread is on how to parent children the GODLY way. It's pure gold. The advice is GODLY, solid, tried and true by GOD'S very own Elect.

                  Enjoy!

A place where parents can get good Godly advice on how to raise a family: how to properly administer corporal punishment, which movies to avoid, and more!

Thank you. When I learned of my wife being pregnant, we both prayed that our first born would be a boy, and thus, our prayers were answered.

Thank you very much for the link, I shall check it out right now.
