My ma said that I need to do volunteer work if I want to get into a good Christian college, so I started working at a school for the retardeds. I thought it would be a good place to spread the word of God

Well my first day was yesterday and I was very much saddened by the fact that some of them couldn't even speak to pray or say "Jesus". The one little girl I worked with could only say "Gee" and cried when I tried to read The Bible to her.

Are the retardeds afflicted or possessed? Will they go to hell because they can't read The Bible or pray?

Yeah, fortunately we won't have to put up with retards in Heaven. They will all burn in Hell. I'm sure a clever young girl like yourself can see why. As you have already stated, they can't read the Bible or pray. They are also unrepentant perverts all. You should be very careful around retards. If they are sexually aroused they will just rape you without a second thought, no matter who or what is around.

Annie, it is terrific you are working on the retards. Keep in mind they have simple brains, and most cannot reason. Generally, they are like bad dogs that only respond to a rolled up newspaper or shock collar. Hit them enough and they learn. But do keep your distance.

There are four reasons for people to be retarded.

1. God made them retarded as punishment for their sins.
   Exodus 15:26
   And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.
2. God made them retarded as punishment for their sinning parents.
   Exodus 34:7
   Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.
3. They listened to the evil whispers of Satan and allowed an evil spirit to enter their bodies.

4. God has blessed them for they are an example of His magnificence! Praise!
   John 9:1-3
   And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.
   And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?
   Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

Only those afflicted because of reason 4 are incurable, those who suffer for reason 1, 2 and 3 are perfectly curable through prayer, Bible-teaching and most importantly getting them to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
