  • How to protect your kids from dangers of Internet

As a computer expert, I have been asked several times, how to protect kids from dangers of Internet. Simple answer would be: don't let them use it!

Problem is that modern secular society is now "information society" and we really need to know how use Internet to be able to compete with heathens. Example of this is excellent LBC forum. My opinion is that even girls should be able to use computers and internet, or at least browse good Christian websites.

In the net there still is many dangers, viruses, scam sites and of course web sites with material not suitable for children. Therefore if JeOS is not available for you, you should use some virus scanner, malware scanner, password protected web site blocker, firewall software and router with SPI firewall and use NAT.

For boys, this should be enough. Of course, boys are smart and they will hack the web site blocker and maybe even the firewall if you leave them alone with the computer long enough. But they are boys, I think they are also smart enough not to be corrupted so easily and because you would have also installed logging software, you could then afterwards deep study those perverted web sites they found and maybe give them some punishment if you have time.

Girls are different matter. Once you leave them alone with the computer and they happen to find themselves on chatroulette or similar corruptive thing, they turn to harlots. So you should always watch your daughters surfing on net (at least spying them on webcam or something) and if for some reason, you must leave them alone with the computer, I suggest this method one of my friend is using (warning, friend's daughter is not True Christian and the picture is little bit smutty: She is using yellow clothes!)

I cannot believe a woman would dress like that. Only a harlot or servent of satan would ever wear that color.
Daniel 5:16-18 "Let thy gifts be to thyself, and give thy rewards to another; yet I will read the writing unto the king, and make known to him the interpretation."

Also there is an ashtray in the background. I don't want to make generalisations but I have never met a woman who smokes who isn't a slut.

Oh my God! I didn't even notice. I have to tell my friend that his daughter is a slut!

I know this goes offtopic, but do you have any advice how we can get that little harlot back to the Christian path?

If you look really closely at the screen you can see that she also has some video games installed.

I think the main issue is her slutty clothing.

              1 Timothy 2:9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;

Sometimes the best cure for this is shame. I suggest a group of True Christian men go to her and just stare at her. This will make her feel uncomfortable and may cure her. It will disgust me and I will probably not be able to stand it for more than seven or eight hours. I am willing to volunteer despite the cost of the airfare. I feel it is my duty.

This was a good news. I could join you. I think we should stare in lustful way to have maximum effect. Do you think you could handle that? As a side note, she is "half brit", my friend is originally from Nottingham and she does have dual nationality. One option would be to send her to You instead.

As an Ex-Hacker myself, I know for a fact that boys are smart enough to locate the Logging Software and disable it. I have done that many times myself.

The fact is, most boys will have seen pornographic content by the Age of 16.
Girls, are not likely to be found on Omegle or ChatRoulette.

Thats why the logging software should be in the router.

What if you have a Wired/Dial Up Connection?

My nine year old says, "Then you probably have a pet dinosaur as well." No idea what the little guy is on about but he told me I had to post that.

I'm going to ignore the sarcasm and say that people will have Dial Up in their homes, and they will have a smart enough Hacker to get past the Software.

The is almost no way to stop kids these days accessing unjust things on the Internet. Everything is too open.

You can still use router. Example cisco has hardware that can be used. Of course Cisco is using own ios operating system and you need to hack it for own software but fortunately you can use IDA Pro or similar tools to reverse engineer the firmware. Ios is using monolith architecture and flat memory model and is using heap data. It is quite easy to write shell code for it. And equipment has pretty good logging capabilities out of the box.

Anyway, you should never tell the kids there is logging going on.

So you're planning on Cracking a Firmware, which is also forbidden by 99% of ISP's.

An easier alternative would be to find a RAT, Build a Server, FUD Crypt the Server, then Install it on your own PC. AV's wont pick it up, and the child wont pick it up if hidden correctly.

^ All that said by a 16 year old.
