I have made grave discovery. I bought Kindle last year so I can have collection of religious books with my while I travel. It is much easier just to have eBook reader than drag 20-30 books while travelling. I have to admit that Amazon's Kindle store has huge collection of religious books and I have bought example the KJV ebook from there.

I was really glad using the Kindle and I was almost buying one for my older son. Kids really love electronic toys and I thought that it helps him to read even more the Bible. Then I found the truth: Kindle shop is full of pornographic books like The Catcher in the Rye and demonocratic literature like this and Satanic books! What on earth I was thinking? I almost bought him tool that can corrupt the innocent boy.

And guess what is the worst part? It will give you automatically pictures of these books in the browser window while you innocently browse Bibles! I did notice that before my wife happened to pass behind me while I was buying books from Amazon. She asked that why there are those filthy books. You can believe that I was shocked too. I took even screen capture of this:



What if my kids were browsing the Kindle shop and would have seen those?

So Amazon Kindle support Witchcraft and Sodomy!

amazon itself doesn't necessarily promote sex and "demonic" media. it doesn't make any of that, other people do and amazon allows it because it makes them $

you only get that stuff if you search for it

also, that "horrible" picture isn't that bad

there's a lot worse stuff out there

just go to Google Images, turn off the filter, and type in "porn", yeah, a lot worse than that picture up there

well, first things first buddy: if someone wants porn, they usually don't read a book, they look at pictures or videos

i personally don't have a kindle so this might not be possible, but you could possibly set a filter (i guess you'd probably filter every book with a girl on the cover and anything about evolution or science) to block unwanted things from appearing

Glad you mentioned this. I did search and Kindle offers Darwin's book also! It is now clear that they have unchristian agenda.

Before I was saved I didnt bother reading at all but now I do but only the Bible. Because I only read the Bible thats the only book I need so I dont need an kindle just my KJV.

well, i don't idolize anybody. and while i am not a vegetarian (and probably won't ever be because i'm too lazy to find an alternative protein) i do not think that vegetarians are bad people, they just care for animals (now how is that so wrong?)

by the way, you spelled "liberal" wrong and Amazon promotes the right of free speech and free print (i might not have gotten the wording on the 2nd one right).

well, the government (U.S. government, definetly not China) does promote free speech and freedom of the press. Amazon was a business idea (a very successful one) and just because they might have a book (or other media form) ranting on religion does not mean that Amazon itself shares those viewpoints. when it comes to politics and religion, companies like Amazon are usually neutral. they have pro-religion books, and anti-religion books. this spans out to more people's interests (not everybody is like you buddy) so more people buy from them and they make more $$$

They don't care about animals, they hate animals and want to kill animals. I spelled liebral the True Christian(TM) way. Oh and Free speech has to do with criticizing the government, not about forcing smut onto the public. Unfortunately the liebral horndog judges felt differently and decided that the smut they enjoyed should be available to my boys as young as possible. I wonder if they were paid off by the catholic church.

You seem like you know a lot and are able to do your own research. How about you take some time and google "books banned by google" and then get back to us about how magnanimous your favorite multinational corporation really is.

Sorry if I'm intruding, but I was doing as you said and it turns out I didn't find much more than this:

It appears like they support banned books. This contradicts what you were saying about google being biased, but correct me if I'm wrong.

Back to the main point of the thread, nobody is forcing you to buy it those books, so why not just use it for your christian books only?
