God distinguishes between the opinions of husbands and wives regarding one another. I wondered what it meant to reverence a husband

I Peter 3
1 Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;
2 While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.

Wives are received as payment for work done .Hosea 12:12. or seconded on a temporary basis. Some wives seem intended to be a permanent fixture.

It must be time for some more tea

So how would it be possible to be afraid of one's husband unless appropriate discipline were available?

God is altogether consistent concerning wives. If a man justly HATES his wife, she is to be KILLED.

DEUTERONOMY 22
13 If any man take a wife, and go in unto her, and hate her . .

Wives are a contaminant, defiling their husbands (and of course contaminating all children with SIN; daughters - being innately unclean to start with - are born doubly vile (this point has been covered elsewhere)) to such an extent that they remain defiled even after death.

Revelation 14:4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.

Jesus explained that The Law of The Old Testament remains in force .Matthew 5:18. and it includes details concerning the distribution of property upon death. Who inherits the wife is specified in the Mosaic Law. She had no say in the matter then, and should have no say in the matter now. Rejecting God's Law leads to Hell, and without legitimate children the chances of any woman attaining paradise appear to be remote in the extreme.

This is what God, in His mercy, has said on the subject (and again I must point out that these are not my ideas - it is what I have been reading in The Bible this morning (with my breakfast tea & toast)):

Mark 12:19 Master, Moses wrote unto us, If a man's brother die, and leave his wife behind him, and leave no children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.

It is perhaps worth noting that the brother does have a choice in the matter - if he doesn't want the wretched woman he is not obliged to take her: she has no choice however.

When heathen lesbians start spouting off about the rôle of wives, the duties of her owner towards her, what "love" means, that wives shouldn't be purchased or treated as property - you name it they'll rant on about it - we understand that they are ignorant of God's Perfect Love and His Wonderful Plan for Salvation. It is highly unlikely that they have ever read The Bible.

Male sodomites probably don't concern themselves much with wives, but in either case their empty lives ring hollow every time. That is why they are all on drugs. Their ravings are the booming of a wicked shallow gong and nothing they say will ever persuade me to adopt their corrupt and degenerate practices, no matter how they try.

In order to be an obedient wife one must first be a wife. I therefore have no comment to make about that other than to post a few simple verses from God's Word and to say that an Obedient Wife Club sounds like a pretty good idea to me.

I'm happy to say that my wife have been very obedient for a long time now. She used to be stubborn, but if there was something good learned from martial arts I practiced before I found True Christianity, it was ability to induce extreme pain without actually harming the person.

I think it will come handy if my wife starts to act like crazy like last time she was pregnant. I don't want to cause any harm to the baby, but I must be able to make her to submit to me when she starts to rant about sore back and her doing all the housework (Ephesians 5:22-24). She doesn't think the back is sore after I manipulate some nerve points with locks or atemi. Best thing is that she recovers quickly and I don't need to be ashamed of her because of black eye.

All though I not 100% sure should I prefer rod instead of bare hands. Anyway, I also practiced stick fighting, so I can give you some tips.
