Oh my! Thank Jesus I found this post! My husband and I have never had rules against petting our cat, but of course, now we'll have to change that. We were also planning to take Samuel and his little friends to a petting zoo for his birthday. Now we think we'll just take them to a nice Bible reading instead.

This is the very reason why I refuse to ever visit a petting zoo or go on one of those tropical 'swim with the dolphins' excursions.

I would never entice an animal by touching it. You can never underestimate a dirty, sex-crazed animal. You never know when they will attack you and try to rape you!
