All of you call to back up our views with scripture, do you have any idea how rediculous thta argument it against a person saying they belive nothing in the bible (like me). It's like asking someone who doesn't believe in any science or quantum mechanics to prove their beliefs by manufacturing dark matter into the form of a god. Also the United States of America (which i'm going to assume you mean when you say america has only been populated by it's current race for several hundred years almost all of whome come from europe originally. this means that if the bible was written hundreds, nay thousands of years ago the U.S.A didn't exist at the time.

It has been proved no more acccurate than nostradamus and considering all of his works can be multiply interpreted so you can force just about anythign you want to be true from them i'm interested to see what happens with the bible.

Take the story of onan for example. It says he spilt his seed on the ground. It could mean he masturbated instead of impregnating his brothers widow but that makes no sense, even after masturbation he'd have enough sememn left in his body to impregnate her, it would simply make it more difficult for him. It could also mean he pulled out, far more likely as this would genuinely prevent prenancy. Somehow christians still put this forward as an argument agains masturbation.
