    Sex ed

Okay, people. You all know I'm getting old at 18. But I'm keeping myself educated until I find that perfect guy that'll 'Sweep me off to my own kitchen.' So I'm wondering if there's something I missed since you all seem to desire women that are silent in bed. If a Godly man marries a pure and Godly women, why shouldn't they enjoy the act of procreating? If I'm not supposed to like it, why am I even waiting? Where in the bible does it say married couples aren't supposed to enjoy sex? Chapter and verse if you don't mind, so I can look it up and commit it to memory.

I'm pretty sure he's not supposed to hurt me on purpose. Right? Also, if there is anything else that may be appropriate to know, please put it here. Thanks.

I have no idea where you got that Christian men want you silent in bed... Most Christian men want you loud in bed and silent in church.

If the Lord leads you to it, he will get you through it.

I got that idea from a few of the ads posted by men seeking wives in this forum. The most recent said he wants a wife to silently clench her teeth during the act of procreation. Other men say they want a women that will keep her eyes closed the whole time, and yet another said he wanted someone that isn't afraid to hurt him and be hurt during the act.

Well sure, teeth is never a good idea in bed.

        Hebrews 3:4

Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

Undefiled is a word left for interpretation only in a godly marriage.

If the Lord leads you to it, he will get you through it.

So you're saying that most men don't see any form of expression on our part when we're loving on them as defilement, but a women and her husband decide together what defiles the bed? That makes sense. Does that also mean that there aren't any rules referring to sex in the bible other than the ones banning same sex intimacy and incest? If so, that means that the men in this forum are... what? They just like women that are quiet all around? I was worried that they expected marriage to be droll and uninteresting all around, including children, 'the act', and finding that special person to keep them company.

            1. Always give your absentee ballot to your husband to fill out.
            2. Don't touch anything in the boat unless he says to.
2a. Same thing goes in his truck.
            3. Women should always go to the kitchen to talk and then, it should never slow down meal preparation.

Oh yes, sex is for making little soldiers for Christ. But most men need lots of practice between hitting a home run, so act like you enjoy it.

Here are a couple more that really helped me....

Be swift to hear and slow to speak.

Also this was a shocking one, but true...Love is a choice, not a feeling. You choose to love.

Here's what the Bible has to say about it, in I Cor 7:1-5.

Married couples should have as much sex as possible, so that the Devil can't tempt them with lust.

1 Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman.
2 Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.

The previous chapter of I Corinthians contained a sermon on the evils of fornication. In this chapter, Paul prescribes marriage as a remedy for avoiding fornication.

3 Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband.

Rendering "due benevolence" means the husband should make sure the wife gets hers, and the wife should make sure the husband gets his.

4 The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.

The wife is not allowed to refuse the husband's requests for sex, and the husband is not allowed to refuse the wife's requests for sex.

5 Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.

Don't falsely claim to have a headache or whatever to avoid sex. The only legitimate reason to skip the nookie is for an agreed upon pause for fasting and prayer, and then you should immediately have sex when you are done, so that Satan can't tempt you because of your uncontrollable lust.

If you are interested, you can find that Bible passage colorfully illustrated with Lego® blocks here.

                  I hope this helps.

The legos were soooo cute! Thank you for the advice straight from the Word. I went and read it in context, too. It'll take me a minute to learn it by rote, but I think it'll do just fine. Thank you very much everyone. Interesting that the other people and guests didn't hijack the thread... ^-^'

                      Dear Friends,

I really don't see why this is in the family forum. Sex and family should have nothing to do with one another (certain dispensations notwithstanding).
