So what if a gay child wants to be a boy scout? Is he going to harm another child by doing the same tasks as the rest of them? If I had a son, and he was gay, I would be proud of him, just cause he can open up about secrets that he wouldnt want any person to know. You know, Doctor, you bring up an interesting thought for me. If I remember correctly, the Boy Scouts allow men to participate as good citizens, not just fathers of Scouts. I know you're a very busy man, but perhaps the LORD will open some time in your busy schedule if you ever wanted to join for some of those away camps and field trips and things where these boys are most vulnerable. Having a True Christian(tm) they can trust, like you, must be a huge relief for most parents.

Well at least they are still prohibiting gay adults, but for how long!! I can only pray the rapture comes before that happens.

At last they are moving into the 21st century. Here in Britain the scouts is a mixed organisation. Much better for helping them form close relationships and discover their developing sexualities. We already have a few out gays and lesbians and the other scouts think it's great. To see teenagers so happy and secure in their sexuality and not hating each other is a joy to behold and a sure sign that the love of Jesus is alive and well!
