Growing up, many of us read comics, and we were all familiar with Archie and his friends at Riverdale, who despite their hilarious highjinx spread a comforting gospel message to the nation's children. They were comics a parent could feel safe letting their children and teens read, where homoerotic "superheroes" in tight spandex wouldn't make them feel funny and weird, where they could learn decent values.
You could imagine my surprise then when I was visiting my cousin Rita in Des Moines today and I discovered that greedy joos have taken this beloved Christian comic world and made a secular version of it!
Children and teenagers should be learning lessons about GOD from their reading material and not be dragged down to the fiery pits of Hell by intolerant atheicks who want nothing more than to make everyone hate Jesus as much as they do!
In the SICKular version, there is never any mention of the Lord, nobody talks about prayer unless Big Moose is about to pound them silly, and the kids even go on unchaperoned dates! The least they can do is help spread the message that unchaperoned dates are "so gay", but they refuse to even make that one little concession in the sick perversion they are feeding our youth.
Marriage is one man and one woman, but by perusing the pages of the so-called "comic" I confiscated from my niece before beating her backside with it, I saw that one of the abominations these degenerates are trying to spread are Mormon-style harems with one man and multiple wives. It's not obvious at first, but when you see how they try to make Archie appear torn between Betty (a Godly young woman in the original and superior comics) and Veronica so that young, impressionable readers will eventually say, "Why can't he just be with both?" Sickening.
Then there is Archie's friend, Jughead. A "woman hater" who only wants to spend time with Archie and "eating meat"? HORRIFYING! They barely even try to disguise this sodomite for what he is! I wouldn't be surprised to see him offering Archie, Reggie, or even Big Moose back rubs and foot massages in some future issue.
Then there is the writers' hatred of America and capitalism, when they make the wealthy and successful Lodge family appear spoiled, vain, out of touch, and hateful. Only the poor families are made to look human and worth aspiring to. I can see if these comics were targeted to wetbacks or nigras, but their target audience is Americans!
It can't get worse, can it? Of course it can. None of the characters are home schooled. Every single one of them who is young enough attends a SICKular public school, Riverdale High, where prayer and the Bible are strongly suppressed and God is not welcome.
I wish I could say there wasn't much more, but the list goes on and on and one. Kids and teens have not only not been warned against gothism, but it's actually been accepted and embraced within the pages. Sabrina the Teenage WITCH is seen as a HERO! And don't get me started on the "Pussycats", half-naked and semi-naked whores who make it their goal in life to spread the devil's music!
Please join me in writing to the publishers to ask them to return Archie and his friends to their Christian roots, such as I've shown in the images I've shown in this post. Ask them (and pray for them) to print family-friendly comics once again that we don't have to be afraid to let our children and teens read. Chick tracts are great fun and spiritually fulfilling, but our youth deserve more variety in between their Bible studies and chores.
