Just what we expected, the carnage has just begun. In addition to being a murder simulator, GTA4 is teaching children how to DRIVE DRUNK!! Even in the first week since the game has come out there have been numerous drunk driving deaths due to this game. Some sources predict a 14% rise in juvenile drunk driving arrests due to people mimicking the "drunk driving physics" in the game. Hundreds of people will die, not all of them gametards; the victims will be people like you or your family, too close to an idiot with a car. This summer there could be more than 2000 ADDITIONAL deaths from drunk driving due to this game ALONE!!
If your kids must play video games, at least do them a favor and get them a good driving simulator so they can grow up to be better drivers and maybe live to be 25.
You may not like the MADD organization, but they are doing their best to protect innocent people from idiots who drive, a goal that I commend.
Do I expect people to deny the influence this game has on drunk driving? Of course. Will kids be driving around with beers and saying, "Dude, this is just like GTA4."? Of course. Do you think that it has a drunk driving simulator to educate people about the dangers of drunk driving? That's like having Ronald McDonald telling people that french fries are a good diet food.

MADD, upset that a Grand Theft Auto IV game module requires players to drive drunk, requests Entertainment Software Ratings Board to reclassify the new video game.
MADD is also requesting that manufacturers consider stopping distribution, “out of respect for the millions of victims/ survivors of drunk driving.” MADD insists that making a joke of drunk driving is a serious offense. Recently, the organization has solicited increased public support, from law enforcement, lawmakers, media and the public, initiating a ”Campaign to Eliminate Drunk Driving”.
