I sadly admit that I am envious (Proverbs 27:4) of you having two children at one time. How fortunate for you to be increasing your quiver so quickly. Hopefully, if you can conceive again in the first month after you've given birth, you can speed up the process even faster. I married when I was thirteen, and had my first child a mere nine months later, then ten months later another, but I must admit after that we had a bit of a gap, so finally I am once again with child, but it will be a bit difficult to get conceived in a month's space, because I will be unclean for twenty one days after the birth.

What should I be doing in the next month to make sure I don't get lazy? because without my sons and my husband in the house there is little to do.

So if the babies are born consecutively, I would expect 7days + 3days + 30days for the boy
followed by 2weeks + 3 x 20days + 6days for the girl

so (in days):
7 + 33 + 14 + 66 = 120 days altogether.

If the babies are both born at the same time, rather than in sequence, perhaps you should contact the Deaconess who would be able to ask the Pastors without contaminating them.

Concerning the possibility of sodomy in utero there is a difference between identical and non-identical twins which could be determined from the caul (if present).

I'm sure God will give him the strength to last. Man only has those "needs" to make babies, and if there are no babies to be made, he shouldn't have those "needs". I hope that's comforting, if you are worried about your husband. I'm sure going to be worried about mine!

Amen, Sister Alexandria! I have found a good maid and after two hours worth of questioning, I hired her, being safely assured that she was a good, honest, Godly woman, I also have found a midwife, Praise the Lord! Now I am completely ready for the birth and the 120 days of unclean time.

I too am a bit nervous about tending to the babies when I'm unclean, so I decided to be on the safe side and so I hired a maid so when the time comes she can tend to them.

If your maid is a wet nurse, remember to ask her "how long since.." and if for any reason you need to see your children during your separation make sure they don't touch anything you have touched. Perhaps they ought to be restrained—swaddling clothes would be appropriate—so as not to become contaminated. The nurse herself will also become unclean from time to time I think it would be best if Mr Thompson were to undertake the interviews determining status in those respects of substitutes.

A baby touching your bed (or chair) becomes unclean. If it's a girl it probably doesn't make much difference. Mr Thompson may wish to establish (if it's a wet nurse we're talking about) what happened to her own baby. Did she eat it? The Bible is clear that we show no compunction in eating our offspring during lean times and if she were not so impoverished why would she be applying for the position in the first place? I would suggest that any prospective wet nurses be forwarded to Mr Thompson for evaluation, perhaps with a gift of wine to compensate him for the inconvenience. I would be willing to go along with her to make sure she didn't swap the wine for something else or run off. No doubt you have a location for your husband where he could be found for this act of love?

I know you wouldn't want the twins to become doubly vile, polluted as they are by you from conception and subject to error per favour the maid in ignorance.

What more evidence should one need of God's Perfect Love than that He has set out these commandments for our Salvation?

All the questions I gave to the maid (Whose name is Abigail) were from my husband himself, I know not to rely on my feeble, womanly features, Abigail is indeed a wet nurse but I feel uncomfortable about a girl being breastfed, Abigail's own baby died, but was not eaten at least I hope not.
I already have made swaddling clothes for the babies, being contaminated is a definite no-no as is disobeying the Bible in any way at all.
But I will take your advice and send Abigail right to my husband with some wine, he isn't Jesus so he won't do with just a bottle of water (little Bible humor ), thank you again for the advice, I am so thankful to have you as a friend.
