Advice for teen parents

I need some help. Well, really I need some advice. Technically, I don't need it, but my friend at school does. This friend was having a relationship with a woman, actually a girl at school, not a woman because those girls are immature tarts. There are no women in high school. Anyway, this girl is pregnant, but he's only a teen really and marriage is really scary to him. She had broken up with him because she got spooked and contacted his mom and paid her off to pretend like the mother was responsible, but she wasn't and after finding out played along and was happy that her son wasn't with this girl because she was a senior and he a freshman and she didn't like the idea of a older girl dating her son when she found out. But it was just the girlfriend freaking and acting funny because she didn't want to accept it and got scared herself. Abortion is just unchristian. Now this friend might not be a christian, but I am and I I'm pretty sure abortion is not christian. Is the guy obligated to marry the girl? He likes her a lot. A WHOLE lot, but marriage scares him BIG TIME. Why does marriage scare people? Makes no sense really.

He hasn't even graduated high school and he's going to be a father? How is he going to tell his mother? This is heavy stuff.

He could always donate his child to foster care, if he does not want to abort it. Anything would be better than just dumping his child on the sidewalk, or dumping the child in a trash bin, like so many teenage mothers often do.

Marriage can be a very scary step for people especially if it wasn't planned like in this situation. You really have to be emotionally prepared before jumping into it. I guess what most people are afraid of is if you will still be inlove with this person you marry later down the track. You only get (hopefully) one chance at this so it better be right.

Pregnancy is not a good reason to get married if you're not sure that this person is the right one.
If she doesn't want to abort it, and doesn't want to raise it herself, she should allow someone to adopt it.
If possible, she should arrange a private adoption, rather than go through state agencies, which are horribly over-burdened and under-staffed.
