Mass. girls may have made pact to get pregnant

School officials in this hard-luck New England fishing town say an alarming 17 girls — four times the usual number — became pregnant this year. And even more disturbing: Some of the girls may have made a pact to have babies and raise them together.

The girls are all 16 or under, nearly all of them sophomores. The superintendent said they have been reluctant to identify the fathers, many of whom are older. But one of them "is a 24-year-old homeless guy," the principal was quoted as telling Time.

I came across THIS article today. It seems like these girls have been seduced by pregnancy-crazed Hellywood tabloids. It sickens me to think that these girls just upped and decided to get pregnant by homeless bums out of wedlock, and thereby assure themselves eternal damnation. Are we the only people raising our children to be moral and conscientious people who follow the laws of the Lord?

Gloucester — a heavily Roman Catholic town with a large Italian and Portuguese population — has long been supportive of teen mothers. The high school has a day care center for students and employees.

This pretty much explains the whole thing. Wop and Portugeese Cattylicks who have day care centers..for students...at school! Why don't they just tell the young people, "Hey, go ahead and have a bastard child, and we'll watch him or her while you're in Geometry class." Great idea, Gloucester Massachucetts!
