Re: Is it possible to change my name?
No names yet. The inspiration always comes to my husband through the Lord, when he first sets eyes on the babe. But I know it won't get a Jooish nameOriginally posted by RebekahQuiverfull View PostOh this is great news! I shall pray daily that God has blessed you with a son! I am now recently a mother of thirteen (8 sons and 5 daughters). My husband has already insisted upon trying again for out next soldier, I hope we do not have the unfortunate wait of five years like you. I am eager to have another son. Have you thought of any names yet?

Just remind me - how many grandchildren do you have? And how many great grandchildren?Originally posted by Attila's Wife View PostI do not feel the need to use my on-screen name to brag about the number of my many descendants.

Re: Is it possible to change my name?
Many congratulations on the news of your Interesting Condition, Sister. But, at your advanced age, you should not count your chickens before they are hatched. God has been known to punish older mothers, especially those with "doubts", with defective monsters. Perhaps you think you are not guilty of doubts? But you doubted your ability to conceive another child, and who knows what other sins you may have unwittingly committed?
I think Brother Jeb's point about sibling rivalry is an important one. And Wide-Open makes an excellent point when he says
I do not feel the need to use my on-screen name to brag about the number of my many descendants. After all, our names are not a contest, but a reflection of the important things in our lives.
I will pray for a happy conclusion to your pregnancy, dear.

You might want to consider - if and when the admins allow such a name change - to only count the number of sons. After all, our names are not a contest, but a reflection of the important things in our lives.

Re: Is it possible to change my name?
Let's not get ahead of ourselves, a new child in the family often results in sibling rivalry, which often results in rebellious children. You know what God commands next: Leviticus 20:9.
The Lord giveth, and the Lord taketh away, is all I'm saying.

Re: Is it possible to change my name?
My wife, Mrs. Hutchins, has been with child (usually a son) about once every eleven months, has since the day we were married. The ones that God kills in her womb, we save in a jar on the mantle. Those that have survived have almost all become fine Christians. We have been married close to forty years now.
I think you need to ask yourself why God does not want to bless you more often. Review your life. When your husband lets you ask questions, see if he is willing to explain to you why God is angry.

Oh....so sorry, sister! May God give you the parting gift of a son, and not the consolation prize of a daughter!Originally posted by Mother Of Seven View PostBecause Brother Hammer, I feel this may be the last. Re: Is it possible to change my name?
Why not be proactive and change your name to something like Mother of Multitudes, as I'm sure your husband won't stop seeding you until your uterus (pardon my french) caves in and every last drop of calcium is leeched from your bones, and you fall over dead, as pleases The Lord. That way you won't have to go through the hassle of changing your name every 9.1 months!
