So you fancy yourself a poet, do you?

Have any tasteful poems about Jesus you'd care to share with us, harlot?

KJV Bible, all the answers are in there. Nothing gay either.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

So that would be the same place as we get antibiotic treatments for leprosy or how to determine whether wives are about to contract thigh rot.

          NOWHERE.

But God does explain both of these very completely. He knows all about disease and jealousy and parasites and burning wrigglers, knows how they are to be treated and has told us what to do. Atheistic medics by disregarding His instructions have cooked up preparations as an alternative but God makes sure they don't work for long and the more this "medicine" gets adopted the more plagues there seem to be. Sometimes God's remedy is simple, sometimes quite complicated.

Children educated by secular standards grow into a world where God seems ignorant about His creation. A world without consequences and consequently a world without sin. Sin is not simply a matter of wrongdoing but, The Bible makes plain, a condition transmitted from Adam to everyone—with Jesus being exempt—and a world without SIN is a world having no need for ATONEMENT by the shedding of innocent blood.

          EXAMPLE 1 ~ Leprosy
          LEVITICUS 14
          2-3
          This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing: He shall be brought unto the priest: And the priest shall go forth out of the camp; and the priest shall look, and, behold, if the plague of leprosy be healed in the leper;
4-20 Then shall the priest command to take for him that is to be cleansed two birds alive and clean, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop: And the priest shall command that one of the birds be killed in an earthen vessel over running water: As for the living bird, he shall take it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water: And he shall sprinkle upon him that is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird loose into the open field. And he that is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and wash himself in water, that he may be clean: and after that he shall come into the camp, and shall tarry abroad out of his tent seven days. But it shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows, even all his hair he shall shave off: and he shall wash his clothes, also he shall wash his flesh in water, and he shall be clean. And on the eighth day he shall take two he lambs without blemish, and one ewe lamb of the first year without blemish, and three tenth deals of fine flour for a meat offering, mingled with oil, and one log of oil. And the priest that maketh him clean shall present the man that is to be made clean, and those things, before the LORD, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: And the priest shall take one he lamb, and offer him for a trespass offering, and the log of oil, and wave them for a wave offering before the LORD: And he shall slay the lamb in the place where he shall kill the sin offering and the burnt offering, in the holy place: for as the sin offering is the priest's, so is the trespass offering: it is most holy: And the priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering, and the priest shall put it upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot: And the priest shall take some of the log of oil, and pour it into the palm of his own left hand: And the priest shall dip his right finger in the oil that is in his left hand, and shall sprinkle of the oil with his finger seven times before the LORD: And of the rest of the oil that is in his hand shall the priest put upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the blood of the trespass offering: And the remnant of the oil that is in the priest's hand he shall pour upon the head of him that is to be cleansed: and the priest shall make an atonement for him before the LORD. And the priest shall offer the sin offering, and make an atonement for him that is to be cleansed from his uncleanness; and afterward he shall kill the burnt offering: And the priest shall offer the burnt offering and the meat offering upon the altar: and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and he shall be clean.
(and if that would clean you out, here is an alternative remedy)
21-31 And if he be poor, and cannot get so much; then he shall take one lamb for a trespass offering to be waved, to make an atonement for him, and one tenth deal of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering, and a log of oil; And two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, such as he is able to get; and the one shall be a sin offering, and the other a burnt offering. And he shall bring them on the eighth day for his cleansing unto the priest, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, before the LORD. And the priest shall take the lamb of the trespass offering, and the log of oil, and the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before the LORD: And he shall kill the lamb of the trespass offering, and the priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering, and put it upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot: And the priest shall pour of the oil into the palm of his own left hand: And the priest shall sprinkle with his right finger some of the oil that is in his left hand seven times before the LORD: And the priest shall put of the oil that is in his hand upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the place of the blood of the trespass offering: And the rest of the oil that is in the priest's hand he shall put upon the head of him that is to be cleansed, to make an atonement for him before the LORD. And he shall offer the one of the turtledoves, or of the young pigeons, such as he can get; Even such as he is able to get, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, with the meat offering: and the priest shall make an atonement for him that is to be cleansed before the LORD.
32 This is the law of him in whom is the plague of leprosy, whose hand is not able to get that which pertaineth to his cleansing.
KJV .. look up . context

Secular bodies like the WHO are presented in schools as offering solutions to plagues such as leprosy using medicines NOT MENTIONED BY GOD and as countering what they call "superstition" which far from alleviating suffering neglect the very cause itself! Sin. And not only leprosy but Dracunculiasis (guinea-worm disease), river blindness (onchocerciasis), visceral leishmaniasis, sleeping sickness (human African trypanosomiasis) and soil-transmitted helminthiases. God has explained how to treat these illnesses and doctors don't get a mention. Well, actually they do get a mention: as something to be avoided.

EXAMPLE 2 ~ Jealousy of the wife
          NUMBERS 5
          11-15
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man's wife go aside, and commit a trespass against him, And a man lie with her carnally, and it be hid from the eyes of her husband, and be kept close, and she be defiled, and there be no witness against her, neither she be taken with the manner; And the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be defiled: or if the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be not defiled: Then shall the man bring his wife unto the priest, and he shall bring her offering for her, the tenth part of an ephah of barley meal; he shall pour no oil upon it, nor put frankincense thereon; for it is an offering of jealousy, an offering of memorial, bringing iniquity to remembrance.
16 And the priest shall bring her near, and set her before the LORD:
17-19 And the priest shall take holy water in an earthen vessel; and of the dust that is in the floor of the tabernacle the priest shall take, and put it into the water: And the priest shall set the woman before the LORD, and uncover the woman's head, and put the offering of memorial in her hands, which is the jealousy offering: and the priest shall have in his hand the bitter water that causeth the curse: And the priest shall charge her by an oath, and say unto the woman, If no man have lain with thee, and if thou hast not gone aside to uncleanness with another instead of thy husband, be thou free from this bitter water that causeth the curse:
20-26 But if thou hast gone aside to another instead of thy husband, and if thou be defiled, and some man have lain with thee beside thine husband: Then the priest shall charge the woman with an oath of cursing, and the priest shall say unto the woman, The LORD make thee a curse and an oath among thy people, when the LORD doth make thy thigh to rot, and thy belly to swell; And this water that causeth the curse shall go into thy bowels, to make thy belly to swell, and thy thigh to rot: And the woman shall say, Amen, amen. And the priest shall write these curses in a book, and he shall blot them out with the bitter water: And he shall cause the woman to drink the bitter water that causeth the curse: and the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter. Then the priest shall take the jealousy offering out of the woman's hand, and shall wave the offering before the LORD, and offer it upon the altar: And the priest shall take an handful of the offering, even the memorial thereof, and burn it upon the altar, and afterward shall cause the woman to drink the water.
27-30 And when he hath made her to drink the water, then it shall come to pass, that, if she be defiled, and have done trespass against her husband, that the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall rot: and the woman shall be a curse among her people. And if the woman be not defiled, but be clean; then she shall be free, and shall conceive seed. This is the law of jealousies, when a wife goeth aside to another instead of her husband, and is defiled; Or when the spirit of jealousy cometh upon him, and he be jealous over his wife, and shall set the woman before the LORD, and the priest shall execute upon her all this law.
31 Then shall the man be guiltless from iniquity, and this woman shall bear her iniquity.
KJV .. look up . context

Timmy [OP] is instructed by teachers he trusts at any secular place of education that sexual morality is all about orientation. The Bible is clear that there is no such thing, but rather than implement God's standard Timmy would be told that he must experiment to find out what his "orientation" is. Perhaps he is really a girl and needs gender re-assignment? And when he's had that maybe he'd like to marry 2 or 3 men, or women, or perhaps not have the operation and simply marry a man because he is gay? Sodomites—and The Bible offers several categories—have rights too, he would be taught, and if he wished to marry his brother (because that was his orientation) why should he not? Under that regime it would be perfectly OK for a woman to have a husband and several dozen paramours, she would not be defiled and once more there would be no need for ATONEMENT. The Bible offers no more than superstitious ignorance, Timmy would be told, and should be disregarded. Societies which have done so are freer and happier than ever before. It is therefore important for the Christian message to be explained so that his vile condition, inherited from Adam, can find ATONEMENT IN CHRIST JESUS. By rejecting God's instruction in these matters the principle of BLOOD SACRIFICE will never be understood and Timmy would go to HELL FOREVER.

          EXAMPLE 3 ~ Burning wrigglers
          NUMBERS 5
          6
And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
7-9 Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people. And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.
KJV .. look up . context

Just the sort of thing international doctors would laugh at. Sure, they want to get rid of Guinea Worms, terrible things which burrow out from where God has placed them because of disobedience causing immense agony. They want to get rid of AIDS and ebola and leprosy but reject time proven remedies explained by God—who made them all and who knows all about them—as mumbojumbo at best and in so doing condemn everyone they come in contact with to the real superstition here. Secular medicine. Techniques which God could have described (they say) but did not because He knows nothing. And simple preventative measures which would eliminate much of the risk.
What does Timmy learn from that? Stories such as the one presented here are a valuable lesson in helping to discern hogwash from reality.
Because otherwise Timmy will decide that God does not exist at all.

Mrs Etheldreda, I can't understand how any of those things relate to Timmy's lesson. I noticed in Fireburp's introduction there was no mention of Scripture

The concept of Sin and Grace is critical in understanding the message of atonement. I have shown some examples, of the necessity for blood to be shed and the operation of faith. Crime is dreadful as we know but God, by whose standard we are judged, has provided a way for crime to be overcome. It is included in the package whereby SIN is overcome.

Perhaps Fireburp did not appreciate the message of the story?
