This is quite embarrassing. I hate to tell you that Instagram has nothing to do with Satanic worship, and if anything I see a large number of people on it making posts thanking God. The word "Pentagram" (penta menaing 5) comes from Greek and represents a 5-pointed star. The unrelated word Instagram is a combination of the words "Instant" and "Telegram." Instagram contains women showing their bodies just as much as any popular social media or website. If you're child has an instagram, feel free to follow them. I was raised Christian and shall raise my children the same. I follow @satan on Instragram. He does not promote the devil. He is a comedy account which posts satire unrelated to religion. I sincerely hope this threads author was making a joke, along with the rest of the forum members. Please educate yourself with a better understanding of words and pop culture before attempting to [mis]inform others.

This is the curse of the atheistical. They are so closed minded and scornful of not being closed minded that they simply cannot not see the world in the closed minded way to not see the world for what it is.

We know what a pentagram is. What evidence is there for Instagram being a portmanteau of instant & telegram rather than instant & pentagram? instruct & anagram? or anything else? None is offered which does seem a critical element of the argument so I can only assume that none exists. With minds and the world they see so warped, it would not surprise me to find some heretical sect behind this nonsense after all.

It's certainly not a club I'd ever wish to join!
