Brother Temperance if there was a surge in pie-thievin' in the 60's how can we be so certain that black folks were behind it? It was strange and turbulent times. If anything these pies could have been easily planted among random black people by the CIA...
Likewise wild tales of pie-thievery could have easily been concocted by the govt.

The Bible tells us in Exodus:
Exodus 22
If a man shall steal an ox, or a sheep, and kill it, or sell it; he shall restore five oxen for an ox, and four sheep for a sheep. If a thief be found breaking up, and be smitten that he die, there shall no blood be shed for him. If the sun be risen upon him, there shall be blood shed for him; for he should make full restitution; if he have nothing, then he shall be sold for his theft.

Now, this looks to me like if you catch the Pie Stealer and he can't replace that one Pie with 5 (or 4 if It's a Lamb casserole) then you can whip him (shed blood).
Then if you still get no joy you can sell him into Slavery.

No-one knows where the black tradition of pie-thievery came from. It definitely experienced an upsurge in the 1960s, as the rise of first the Civil Rights movement, and then the more radical Black Nationalist groups like the Nation of Islam encouraged ever more shameless acts of piethievery, but it'd certainly been around for a long time before that. I've heard stories of an "underground railroad" existing in the 19th Century, that provided ex-slaves up in Canada with the white folks' pies to which they had grown accustomed, but I think that's just a myth.

You are in false belief that you cannot do wrong. EVERY human does wrong. So by saying you are unable to sin you are lying and that is a sin.

I provided chapter and verse proving that True Christians™ cannot sin and I can provide more if you need them. GOD controls our lives and since HE cannot sin neither can we.

Another question, why the hell do you bake pies and put them on your window sill. Its called letting them cool off on your counter. Maybe if you didn't have a learning disability you would realize that baking pies and putting them on a window sill gets them stolen you wouldn't do it anymore.

There are a few reasons why the ladies cool their pies on the window sill.

1. It frees up the counter for more baking.
2. Pies cool faster with the breeze flowing over them.
3. The smell spreads farther when blown by the breeze.

A lady should be able to put her pies to cool on a window sill and not worry about them getting stolen by some tresspassing darkie. I shouldn't have to electrify my property's fence and get more guard dogs to protect my wives' pies but I did.
