Looking up a reference recently, something popped up of concern. Apparently my angel has a message for me. Why anyone accepting the risen Jesus would need an angel was not covered but more importantly, how come if an angel capable of speaking to anyone, in this case a third party requiring my details (which I did not provide) together with a fee of some sort, has a message for me, why not simply speak to me?
There are angels and angels. Surely it's impossible to identify which angel spoke to the advertiser from this distance. How could anyone know if the message was true? It could be a rotten angel debarred from communication directly:
Jude 1:6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
Do angels with messages require intermediaries? And if they have a message from God—as in Mary's case Luke 1:28—wouldn't they speak directly?
