The subject of international law was one of my specialties after matriculating at the LaSalle Extension University’s law school.

While little of note in that field has crossed my docket since assuming the bench, I have retained an interest in the subject and, in fact, have recently been engaged in lengthy correspondence with the Honorable Yubangy Yubetcha, a senior justice on the Nigerian Supreme Court. (The subject of that correspondence has nothing to do with starving nigra chillins, but does involve the transfer of certain assets left unclaimed by a deceased Nigerian oil minister).

However, just a cursory glance at case law firmly establishes bene, cum Latine nescias, nolo manus meas in te maculare. (For the less well educated among us that means as asset is an asset whether in specie or on a stretcher – it matters little.)

(A quick aside: Justice Frederick Ulster Charles Kennebunkport was accused of being a windbag in open court in 1842. He had the offending barrister neutered and ordered to spend the rest of his days playing a piano in Tilly’s House of Ill Repute in New Orleans. Just a cautionary tale for others to contemplate.)

Should any affected parties choose to pursue this matter, the Freehold Supreme Court stands ready to hear the cases.

Wonderful. I just got an email telling me that my hosting account and domain have been suspended because of a request by the NAACP. This proves it, the NAACP hates African children. They are a racist organization and should be protested!

I am sure he did. He is always trying to get me to do his work for him. (I usually end up in jail for the night for "contempt" if I don't!)

The problem with putting names on the prices (publicly) is that people might be dishonest or put inappropriate things that would then display on the page. Their IP addresses are being recorded and they will be charged once the auction ends. All bidders will pay what their highest bid was, in addition to the winning bidder. I feel it gives more incentive to be the highest bidder, and therefore raise the auction

I don't think any bids whose IP originates from Nigeria should be allowed. I suspect a Nigerian scam perpetrated by the parents trying to get more for their rug-rats. I see no other reason for those astronomical bids.
