Personally I listen to all the music I can from Sanctified to Rob Zombie, I think the gifts of human intelligence, musical skill and free will are the most beautiful of things.

I would say He does not like niggra music unless it's some of that down home slave type religious music. He probably does not like ABBA or disco, I cannot see Him approve of Marilyn Manson.
He probably also likes John Phillip Sousa and all the good marches.

As a purported born-again Christian, you should know that God loves any music that is focused upon praising Him. He hates any music which does not glorify Him, or which encourages lewd conduct.

I was wondernig if god or jesus prefers certain types of music over others.

Christian rock doesn't count because it's a bit obvious.
