These hotheads that come on here to criticize True Christians™ who are merely explaining the meaning of this Japan thing don't seem to realize its part of a bigger explanation.

What is going on there, the punishment of people for not accepting Jesus as their true savior, has a name in academia. That name is retributive justice. An explanation of it has been written by the President of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary:

The slants should be using this time for prayer and contemplation on what they did to incur God's Wrath.

They will not repent of anything. Did you notice how many smaller quakes hit the area before that big one? Did you see any Japs praying for forgiveness then? As with Nineveh, God gave ample warning. Unlike Nineveh, none proclaimed a fast, none put on sackcloth, none from the greatest of them even to the least of them. (Everyone should read Jonah Chapter 3 to see the right way to do things!)

Greater smiting awaits these slopes for their continued arrogance, I'm sure. I don't know what God has in store for them but I figure it will be one (or more) of three things:

1. more quakes/tsunamis
2. crises involving "humanitarian aid" leading to huge casualties (ala Haiti)
3. one or more nuclear accidents irradiating large swaths of Japland.

I am praying for the 3rd option because it will prove a more final solution to the Jap problem.

Now, in my neck of the woods, we were spared any real damage. The only reason I can see for this is that mainland US currently needs Hawaii intact. There's nothing else of worth here. The people are savages (or illegals or both) and the government is socialist. I will not abandon my mission here, of course.

To tell you the truth I am surprised that God gave them a warning with the earthquake, the tsunami could have sucked more of the shrimp eaters out to sea. God hates shrimp eaters!
