I come here to gain greater understanding of God and enjoy the fellowship of other Christians. But find the continual attacks we have to endure from atheists and agnostics quite upsetting. This latest one, Bobtheripper, I found particularly irritating, with his incohearant and incomprehensable rants about George Harrison being John Lennon and John Lennon being George Harrison, (what was all that about?). So I am delighted to see one of our moderators has stepped in to close down his account.

May I extend a very sincere and heart felt thank you, to all the moderators for all the stirling work you do.

I would agree with you about the islamofascists. But theirs is a false religion, and they serve a false prophet.

You simply can't lump True Christians(tm) into the same category with them, though. The Holy Bible tells us that Jesus Christ is the only way to Salvation(tm) and that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. It doesn't say that about other religions.

So don't go around lumping our enthusiasm for winning souls for Christ in with the extremism of radical islam. Extremism in the name of spreading the Good News of Jesus' sacrifice for our sins on the cross is no vice.

ok, i'm gonna come clean here: that last post didn't make hardly any sense

i don't blame christians for the bombing of the world trade center (9/11), but what i don't approve of is christians thinking every muslim is evil just because a few of their extremists did something wrong.

it's like this (this is a theoretical story):

"there are 2 towns: Yorg, and Tomma. a few men from the town of Yorg decide to burn the city hall of Tomma. The people of Tomma are outraged, but most people of Yorg didn't agree with the actions of those extremist men. Now they are being persecuted for crimes they didn't comit"

Here we go, again. Atheists blaming Christians for things like the Yokohama nuclear disaster or the bombing of the World Trade Center. When will you people ever learn any critical thinking skills? The only way to really prevent these tragedies is to get EVERYONE to believe in Jesus Christ.

atheists and agnostics come here to prove you crazies wrong so we can prevent any more horrible things happening to this world. there are christians out there who believe in evolution, pop music, that the earth is round, and do not have racist or violent views towards other people who are different from them. they are christian as well, they worship the same god, and the same jesus christ.

i'm also sick and tired of everyone here saying that the 1611 King John Bible is the only "true" bible, well guess what people? the bible was written by man, who isn't always correct, and it WAS NOT WRITTEN BY GOD. the main point of religion (for the "upper class rulers") is to manipulate, maintain, and take control of people so then they will follow them.
also, the 1611 KJB still has the main ideas as other bibles

if i really wanted to i could get the "true christian" status by posting threads and comments supporting religious extremism which a lot of people here will somehow enjoy. but then i wouldn't really be a "true christian" because i wouldn't believe in any of the crap i was posting. seeing an account with "true christian" doesn't necessarily means that they are in fact a "true christian"

If you want to reject God and choose not to fit into his devine plans, thats fine. I think it's a little sad, knowing where you will be spending all of eternity but if thats the choice you want to make, nobody here will try and stop you. But why when you have made that decision, do you then choose to come to this forum and brag about your lack of interest in Christianity and then attempt to belittle and humiliate us by calling our religious faith, crap? The only religious extremists I ever see on this forum are the atheists and agnostics like you who come here just to cause upset and offence.
