He claimed that governments should take care of the poor, yet left England because of their tax rates. Just how does he think the nanny state works? Where did he think the money for the poor came from? Obviously not HIS pockets.

He claimed "imagine no possessions" and "all you need is love" yet he was worth over $150 million in land alone when he died. He also owned commercial beef farms in the US.

He claimed we should love each other, yet he had no time for his own son Julian. He claimed that he was a peaceful, non violent man, yet he was known to be a drunken brawler and beat his first wife on a regular basis.

Liebrals are known for refusing to scratch the surface on their idols, in fact they will come up with all sorts of conspiracy theories regarding why Mark Chapman shot Lennon, but ignore Chapman's own words that he did it because he became disillusioned with Lennon when he realized what a hypocrite the man was.

I am filled with disgust listening to this filth. I found another song by Lennon which apparently promotes the use of hard drugs:

John Lennon wrote the song in January 1966, with lyrics adapted from the book The Psychedelic Experience: A Manual Based on the Tibetan Book of the Dead by Timothy Leary, Richard Alpert, and Ralph Metzner, which in turn was adapted from the Tibetan Book of the Dead. Although Peter Brown believed that Lennon's source for the lyric was the Tibetan Book of the Dead itself, which, he said, Lennon read whilst consuming LSD, George Harrison later stated that the idea for the lyrics came from Leary's, Alpert's and Metzner's book and McCartney confirmed this, stating that he and Lennon had visited the newly opened Indica bookshop — Lennon was looking for a copy of The Portable Nietzsche— and Lennon had found a copy of The Psychedelic Experience that contained the lines: "When in doubt, relax, turn off your mind, float downstream".
