American Airlines May Be Turning to God

American Airlines has been in the media a lot lately, and most of that has to do with the airline industry's bankrupt status, but here we see it happening for another reason...

A family have claimed they were stopped from boarding a flight because their son has Down's Syndrome and was not wanted in the first class section.
Joan and Robert Vanderhorst are threatening to sue American Airlines after they say they were victims of discrimination over their 16 year old son Bede.

The couple claim as they waited to board their flight back to their home near Los Angeles they were told by airline staff they were not allowed to take their seats.

Airline staff allegedly told them their son was disruptive and a danger to the flight crew.

But Mrs Vanderhorst told KLTA TV that she began filming her son as he waited in the departure lounge showing him sitting silently waiting to board the flight at Newark, New Jersey.

The facts aren't all in yet, but it could be that AA is trying to emulate God's wonderful Word in the Old Testament when it speaks of turning away the disabled from serving the Lord (Leviticus 21:17-24).

The pilot and airline staff have many responsibilities which require good management--and what if - just what if - the company has been restructuring from up top and incorporating little bits here and there from the Word of God? What if KJV Bibles start appearing along with those in-flight magazines in the seat-backs? This could be a sign of big changes to come!

It hasn't been confirmed yet, but if it turns out to be the case, I think we should expect to see a prosperous airline with God's blessings in the not-too-distant future!

Re: American Airlines May Be Turning to God

Those are wonderful sentiments, Pastor Ed. I dare say anyone who flies a Christian airline had better ensure that they are God Fearing Christians and on good terms with the Lord at all times – you never know when the rapture is going to happen. You would not want to be on a flight where the pilots were raptured and you were not.

Godly Chick-fil-A is not the only company organized on Christian principles, other well known companies are Forever 21, Interstate Battery, Tyson Foods, In-N-Out Burger and Hobby Lobby.

Forever 21: Forever 21 is a clothing store that was founded by Don and Jin Chang, devout Christians who moved to America from Korea in 1981. The small store they opened in Los Angeles in 1984 has grown into a mass business comprised of hundreds of locations across the globe.

On the bottom of each bag, shoppers will find “John 3:16,” the popular Bible verse that reads, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

I would assume that if you have an Interstate Battery in your car you won't have to pray it will start on a cold winter morning as the company has Jesus on its side.

For inspiration while consuming fast food, there is nothing like In-N-Out Burger to find nourishment for this life and the next.

In-N-Out Burger: Much like Forever 21, In-N-Out Burger, a fast-food chain based in California, uses John 3:16 as a way to advertise its faith. In fact, the company places the popular verse on the bottom of cups. Here’s what 11Alive.com reports about the popular business:

Western U.S. burger chain In-N-Out has printed citations of Bible passages on cups, wrappers and other pieces of packaging since at least the late 1980s. For instance, “John 3:16″ appears on the bottom of soft drink cups, a reference to the Bible passage…

    Hell's foundations quiver at the shout of praise;
brothers, lift your voices, loud your anthems raise.
    ...and get off my lawn
