Today a military court sentenced the evil mastermind of Osama bin Laden's car to a measly five-and-a-half years in pokey, with credit for 5 years already served.
But despite this shamefully light sentence -- for someone who drove Osama's ACTUAL CAR!! -- defendant Salim Hamdan will still be held in a chainlink wire cage at the Guantanamo Torture and Badminton Camp forever and ever. Of course LIEbral boogerbutts will question this, saying that the law requires that once the accused has been tried and has served his time he must be released.
Not on GEORGE "Righteous Wrath" BUSH's watch!
Our Godly president understands that the "right" of habeus corpus is simply NOT IN THE BIBLE. People can be imprisoned forever without criminal charge, without evidence of wrongdoing, and even long after they have served out any sentence meted out by a kangaroo court specially convened for the purpose.
Is this righteous? Is this Christian?
Think about it! How long will God punish unrepentant sinners? FOREVER! No time limits on sentences there! No habeus corpus. No insanity pleas. No mercy. And no possibility of defending oneself against the Judgment of the LORD.
Thus, the Earthly Hell of Guantanamo Bay -- and America's "black site" torture houses in Romania and Thailand and Morocco -- are indeed righteous and Christian.
Praise the Lord! Salim Hamdan has been damned by God-annointed George Bush to an indefinitely prolonged stay in the special hell-on-Earth created by Bush. And no LIEbral document like the US Constitution should be allowed to interfere.
