What bugs me is how the Communist flag burners claim "we are protected by the First Amendment."

The First Amendment is about free speech. It's free speech to say "flag burning". Burning the flag is burning the flag, not giving a speech.

Any nitwit can see the First Amendment does not say pickos can burn our sacred flag. The unpatriotic liberals who do it should be put in jail.

Once again you have struck at the heart of the matter Mayor. Flags at the present time are private property in our Godly capitalist system. If I wanted to burn down my house to protest Obama's socialist economic policies I am free to do so, and no one can stop me.

What we need is for congress to pass legislation outlawing private ownership of American flags. All flags will become the property of the US government and anyone wanting one will pay a license fee to obtain one, but it will remain the property of the government - and we can punish anyone for burning them or otherwise desecrating them. If Microsoft can do it with software, we can do it with flags.

In this context, it reminds me that you have been looking for ways to expand the Freehold Industrial Park and bring jobs and further economic prosperity to Freehold. I'm sure Donald can be persuaded to grant Freehold the sole franchise for the manufacture of US flags (I'm sick and tired of seeing US flags with the imprint of "Made in China").

Myth. The first amendment protects all desecration of the flag as political speech.

Fact. The first amendment was specifically and ingeniously crafted by our Founding Fathers to limit the power of Congress. It says absolutely nothing about laws enacted by the Chief Executive branch of government.

It makes me sick to think of American flags being burnt. Why is Congress not doing anything about it?! It beggars belief.

Many other issues just make me furious. The ten commandments, supporting the troops, welfare, anything to do with the gays... it all makes me white hot with rage. I mean, who could care less about the finer points of tax policy or health insurance when this is going on. #MADRIGHTNOW

We all know this angers our Lord as this is God's favorite country! People like this should be arrested! What disgusting behavior.

I wish Trump were in office right now. He could round up the flag burners and throw them in jail as a Christmas gift to all Americans. It would send a message we are a freedom-loving country that is on its knees for Jesus.
