Oh, what am I saying! Recarving the Lincoln Memorial right there in DC makes so much more sense! And after, it could be gold-plated! Nothing else, absolutely nothing else could announce to the world of the new order that is being laid in place with the coming of Donald Trump as President of These United States of America.

That's such a lovely idea, Sister Handmaiden. I've never been a fan of Lincoln either. But do you think the whole thing should be gold-plated? I was thinking that maybe carving it out of gleaming white alabaster would be pretty, reserving the gold (solid gold, preferably) for the hair, the gun and the Bible.

That was gold and ivory, wasn't it? Nice, but problematic. The ivory import ban would have to be lifted, unless we imported live elephants instead which I think would be a way round it.

Yes! First the elephants could be involved with Trump's triumphant inaugural parade, then the ivory could be culled, and the beasts could be roasted on a spit. Sacrificing elephants to a GOP electee may seem odd, but I dare say there is Biblical precedent--or should I say president? Jesus was, after all, God, and He was sacrificed to God. Most importantly, Trump needs to show his extraordinary largesse to the multitudes who will come to adore him.


Remember this is not just any inauguration. This is the inauguration of the Lord's Special Elect, the one president that we are certain has gained favor before Holy God.


The reflecting pool on the mall could be emptied and used as a barbecue pit. But what to use as fuel for such a massive fire?


Does anyone have any ideas?

I've had it with the news coverage in this country. There is a "big" story today about how many chartered buses have been booked into D.C. for President Trump's Inauguration. The number is 200.

The next day is the phony women's march on Washington. The number of chartered buses to that event is 1,200. Big deal.

What the liberal media does not point out is that President Trump has wealthy friends. They will arrive in their own jets. The place will be swamped.

So what if these women who write books like Nickel a Dime show up after riding all night. They will be a two-bit crowd compared to the classy group President Trump is bringing to DC.

President-elect Donald Trump is very concerned about the attendance at his inauguration. He’s already spent weeks complaining about the lack of A-list stars, announcing he doesn’t actually care about A-list celebrities, and then hiring whoever is willing to play.
The number of citizens attending is looking rather low as well, since only 200 bus permits have been filed – as opposed to over 1,200 for the Million Women March the next day

Good question, Brother Alvin. Actually, I'm concerned that there are 200 buses bringing in Trump supporters. Mixing those smelly blue collar people with those of us who arrive by jet is not a pleasant thought. Perhaps the unwashed bus riders could enjoy the event on TV out in Arlington or somewhere.

Politics is a tough business and the brutal truth is this. We needed blue collar voters to get our Godly President Trump elected. Now that he is in, we really don't need them anymore.

I learned about this through contacts I have in D.C. There are hairdressers who will not give President Trump's previous wives free hair services before the inauguration.

This is outrageous. The President's previous wives need to look gorgeous. This country's President cannot display a series of dowdy looking wives. Whomever this hairdresser is that will not do the previous Trump wife's hair for free should be boycotted.

According to The Washington Post, Marla Maples has asked a well-regarded DC hairdresser to work for free in exchange for Inauguration Day “exposure.” Freelance stylist Tricia Kelly (pictured above), a fixture among Capitol Hill mavens, was contacted through one of her clients to perform services on both Marla Maples and Tiffany Trump for Donald Trump’s Inauguration. When Kelly shared her customary rates (which include a $150 travel fee), she was told that the mother and daughter had a combined budget of only $300 for hair and makeup. After some negotiation, Kelly agreed to a fee of $200 (to style both clients), while a makeup artist agreed to work for $150. According to Kelly, Maples’ assistant then called back, requesting that the stylists work for free.
Needless to say, Kelly declined. “I was stunned,” she said. “I told them . . . I work for a fee, not for free,” adding, “There are people who make far less than they do who pay full price. People on staff — the incoming White House and the outgoing one — pay full price. It seemed like they were trying to see how much they could get for free based on their names.” While receiving free services in exchange for promotion is customary in Hollywood, it considered to be in poor taste in Washington. In fact, the President must report any gifts valued at $300 or more given to him, his wife, and his minor children; however, legally Maples and Tiffany Trump are free to make such arrangements.
